Andhra Pradesh state Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya has recently been to New Delhi to met couple of Union Ministers to get necessary funds for the Tourism Department of AP. However, it wasn’t easy for Akhila Priya to get appointments of Central Ministers.
As part of the courtesy meeting, Akhila Priya tried to meet Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. However, due to his hectic schedule, Venkaiah’s appointment wasn’t confirmed.
In between, Akhila Priya had gone to Union Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju’s residence for breakfast. However, she got a call from VP’s office stating that the appointment has been confirmed and they’ve asked us to come right away.
Akhila Priya had cut-short her breakfast with Ashok Gajapathi Raju and met Venkaiah Naidu. Besides giving some advises, Venkaiah has enquired about the purpose of Akhila Priya’s visit to Delhi. When she told him that she is in Delhi to meet the Central Minister for funds for her department in the state, and she couldn’t get appointment, Venkaiah has telephoned the ministers personally and told them to meet her and help her.
After she wrapped up Venkaiah’s meet, Akhila Priya received calls from the offices of the Union ministers who have not just confirmed the appointments but even received her quite well. Inside talk is that both the Union Ministers were quite positive with Bhuma Akhila Priya and asked her to send proposals to sanction the necessary funds.
Thus, Bhuma Akhila Priya’s work was completed with just one phone call of Venkaiah. Venkaiah reportedly told Akhila Priya to work hard and serve better to people and told her that it would earn her good name. Venkaiah also said to have recalled his association with her parents late Bhuma Nagi Reddy and late Shoba Nagi Reddy.
Despite being in a constitutional force like VP, Venkaiah has proved his love for Telugu state once again and helped in his own way to get the funds for AP. On other hand, Akhila Priya has also scored good marks by managing to impress Union Ministers with her conviction for her state’s development.
