Tamil hero Vijay Sethupathi is an actor before a star. He doesn’t want to confine himself to a set of roles and constantly wants to challenge himself. Apart from doing versatile lead roles in Tamil movies, he did villain roles in ‘Master’ and the recent Telugu outing ‘Uppena’. His natural and subtle acting impressed the audience a lot.
He is a winner of the National Award in Best Supporting Actor (Male) category for his terrific performance in ‘Super Deluxe’. Not just Kollywood and Tollywood but the Hindi film industry is also keen on roping him into their films. It is well known that he is doing a web-series for Netflix which has Shahid Kapoor playing the protagonist’s role. Vijay Sethupathi’s role is expected to have equal importance in this series.
On the other hand, he accepted to be a part of Katrina Kaif’s upcoming project under the direction of ‘Andhadhun’ fame Sriram Raghavan. The film is titled ‘Meri Kisamt’. The shooting was supposed to start a few weeks back but with Katrina testing positive for the virus, it got postponed. The team is looking forward to kick-start the filming process next month in Goa and they will be picturizing the combination scenes between Katrina and Vijay Sethupathi as per reports. The filmmakers these days are writing interesting roles keeping Vijay Sethupathi in mind and looks like ‘Vikram Vedha’ star is all set to become a national-level actor in the next couple of years.
