It is no secret that things have drastically changed in Andhra Pradesh ever since Jagan Mohan Reddy became the Chief Minister of the state. Lots of riots are breaking out because of several reasons, and every single political party is expressing their disbelief in the way the government is handling things in the state.
The YSRCP government is also known to indulge in revenge politics, which was evidenced when Atchannaidu was made to travel 700 KMs by road, despite the fact that he was still healing from a major surgery. This feat resulted in the severe deterioration of the politician’s health, because of which he had to be admitted to the hospital.
Now, it is the turn of BJP leaders to be put through such treatment, because they have decided to go against the government. BJP leader Vishnu Vardhan Reddy had recently gone to Amalapuram, to participate in the ‘Chalo Amalapuram’ movement organised by BJP AP President Somu Veerraju. This movement is in retaliation to the horrendous incident of the Antarvedi Chariot burning.
The police hadhen immediately arrested him and made him travel 350 KMs by road, on the name of investigation. Reddy has also said that the police were reluctant to let him know where he was being taken, and why.
Reddy is one of the very few people who has a soft spoken attitude towards the Jagan government, but looks like that is gone now, with the latest development. Reddy has said that the Jagan government has written a brand new constitution for itself and is operating on the basis of that.
