Vithika Sheru made a heart-touching video about her experiences in Bigg Boss Telugu 3 and the aftermath.
The actress who has been acting since the age of 11 was a contestant on the last season of Bigg Boss Telugu, with her husband Varun Sandesh being one of her co-contestants. While in the house, Vithika states that she believes she was playing a fair game and that reaching the top seven meant she was quite successful in the house. But once she came out, she was shocked to see the way the show projected her and people perceived her.
In the video she says, “The reason for me to make this video is so no one goes through what me and my family went through after the last season. Mental illness, depression, suffering, trolling – I’ve experienced it all last year. I was so confident and proud of myself while going in, but little did I know all that would change after I come out.” She adds, “People judged me so much seeing one hour of the twenty four hours I was living in that house. I felt so bad at the way I was projected. It took me three and a half months to get rid of the feeling that I didn’t want to live anymore. The only reason I could persevere was because of my family. None of my so-called friends stood up for me either.”
Vithika shares that her parents and sister were witness too for the kind of trolling she went through, both while she was in the Bigg Boss house and afterwards. “My hands shiver even today when I think about it, but I am happy for the experience because it taught me a lot about life. I feel like I have seen everything there is to see,” she says, adding, “My point now is that, season four has begun and the people you want to troll have lives outside the house. I see that the hate campaigns have already begun and I want at least one troll to see this video and think twice before they try to ruin someone. This whole experience made me close to my family but not everyone might be as lucky.”
Fans of Vithika left supportive comments under the video, stating that the more they see her videos, the more they realise she’s nothing like she seemed in the reality show.
Last year after I've came out from Bigg Boss house I've expected many amazing things. But that was not the reality. I was shocked to see abusive comments, trolls, negativity etc. that bothered me and my family. https://t.co/kJqUVq9sTx
