Tollywood’s handsome hunk Rana Daggubati who enjoys a nationwide market after the humongous success of ‘Baahubali’ is picking unique subjects which satisfy him as an actor. The crazy hero is not limiting himself to lead roles and commercial movies. He is taking up challenging roles and one such role is the character of ‘Ravanna’ which he plays in his upcoming intense film ‘Virataparvam’.
Rana plays the role of Comrade Ravanna in this movie which is inspired by the true events of the 1990s. He writes poetry in this film and his pen name is Aranya. On the occasion of Rana’s birthday, the makers of ‘VIrataparvam’ released a special video titled ‘The Voice Of Ravanna’ which is very powerful and is filled with drama. We can hear the fire in the character of ‘Ravanna’ through the words. They are very revolutionary and inspiring.

Acclaimed actress Sai Pallavi plays the role of Vennela who is a big admirer of Ravanna’s poetry. The visuals in the video are striking and present us the emotional journey of Rana and Sai Pallavi. The theatrical trailer of this film will be coming out during the Sankranti season. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri and Suresh Babu, ‘Virataparvam’ is directed by Venu Udugula.
Dani Sanchez Lopez is the cinematographer along with Divakar Mani. Suresh Bobbili scored the music and the post-production works are currently going on in full flow. The film also has an amazing star cast comprising Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand, Benarji, Nagineedu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Devi Prasad and others. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer while Stephen Richard along with Peter Hein composed the fights.
Other than that, Rana will also be seen as the second lead in Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Bheemla Nayak’ which is a remake of the Malayalam film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’.
