When Sidhu Moose Wala was brutally killed by a gang, not just the Punjabi industry, but the whole nation was shocked. After the incident, wanted gangster Goldy Brar claimed the responsibility and said that he was behind this. Taking to social media, he said that it was them who were behind the planning and execution.
The shocking incident also shed light on the proximity between the singers and gangsters. If we look at the Punjabi songs, we can find two things in common. One is cars and the second one is guns. The majority of songs glorify gun culture. Last year, the Punjab government banned songs that glorify weapons.
Goldy Brar, a wanted gangster, spoke to a national media house and made some sensational comments. Talking about rapper Sidhu Moose Wala’s death, Goldy Brar reportedly said that Sidhu is an egoistic person and the plan was hatched to teach him a big lesson. The gangster gave an exclusive interview to the India Today channel.
In the interview, Goldy Brar said that Salman Khan is their next target, as per the media house. He said that Salman Khan is their next target and not just Salman, attempts will be made against their enemies as long as they are alive and they will keep on trying.
“Like we have said earlier, it’s not just about Salman Khan. We will continue our attempts against all our enemies as long as we’re alive. Salman Khan is our target, there’s no doubt about that. We’ll keep trying, and when we succeed, you’ll know,” India Today quoted him as saying.
It has to be mentioned here that Salman Khan received threats earlier this year and following this security was increased. An email threatening the superstar was sent to his office located in Mumbai, the hub of the Bollywood Industry. The concerned cops swung into action and filed an FIR against the accused.
Goldy Brar is among the wanted criminals in Canada. Like other Punjab-origin people, he also went to Canada. However, he is accused in many cases there and he shot to super fame when a few years back, he allegedly took the responsibility for a murder.
