Watch: Mithali Raj Held A Special Screening of ‘Dear Comrade’

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Dear Comrade’ has garnered a mixed response from audience and critics.

One of the film’s aspects is sexual harassment at the workplace and it has become a talking point.

Lilly played by Rashmika gets harassed by selectors for her to be part of the national cricket team.

Being a cricketer and having faced such situations in her career, Indian star woman cricketer Mithali Raj came forward to watch ‘Dear Comrade.’

Mithali took the initiative of hosting a special screening of the film for underprivileged children and also to Deputy High Commissioner of United Kingdom to Andhra and Telangana, Andrew Fleming.

Though this is a serious issue, this film will help ‘Dear Comrade’ further in terms of collections. On the first day, the film has collected Rs 11.50 crore and is now racing towards Rs 20 crore.

‘Dear Comrade’ was directed by Bharat Kamma.
