Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer Bheemla Nayak is set to hit the silver screens across the globe in just two days from now. The film is up for theatrical release on the 25th of February and the stakes are high on the same. The action drama is sold for high prices and the onus is on Pawan Kalyan to deliver the goods on the big stage. Also, the stakes are high on the OTT rights of the film. Disney+ Hotstar and Aha Video shelled out a whopping amount of money for the post theatrical digital streaming rights of the Pawan Kalyan starrer.
Coming to the topic, we are hearing an interesting update on the post theatrical OTT streaming plan of Bheemla Nayak. As per the latest updates from reliable sources, the film will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar 4-6 weeks post its theatrical release. Hotstar is the primary OTT streaming partner of Bheemla Nayak and Aha Video is the secondary OTT streaming partner. Meaning, the film will first arrive on Disney+ Hotstar and only then will it arrive on Aha Video.
Either way, Bheemla Nayak will not be arriving on OTT at least a month to a month and a half post its theatrical release. This is the agreement that was signed by the makers with the digital streaming partners. But as of now, all the emphasis is on the theatrical release of Bheemla Nayak. The film is expected to get off to a record start at the ticket counters across the twin Telugu states and also the US market. Needless to say, Bheemla Nayak is the first Telugu mainstream biggie to release in theatres post the Covid third wave. The film is registering excellent advance bookings. The pre-release event is set to be held in Hyderabad later today.
