‘Hanu-Man’ is a superhero action-adventure drama made by director Prasanth Varma. Teja Sajja is playing the lead role in this pan-Indian movie. The team made it clear that they are not going to walk away from the Sankranti race. They are very confident about their product as they claim that this film has all the ingredients to please the family audience and it will take the viewers to a new world. But there are a few flaws in their plan according to the experts.
As we know, the movie is releasing on 12th January and it is the same date on which ‘Guntur Karam’ is getting released. Mahesh Babu’s film will not be affected by ‘Hanu-Man’ but Teja Sajja’s film may find it tough to get the desired number of theatres. The distributors may be the same or different which is not a problem but the issue arrives in B & C centres where the mass hero dominates everyone. It is tough to divide the screens equally in those areas and you can understand why ‘Guntur Karam’ will be favoured. With no big names in ‘Hanu-Man’, people may not be eager to watch this film on the first day itself.
Many are suggesting that the ‘Hanu-Man’ team needs to be practical and choose a release date between 1st January to 11th or from 13th to 15th of January. The main reason for it is ‘Guntur Karam’. When a star like Mahesh Babu is coming with a film, the entire focus will be on that movie and nothing else. It is very hard to grab the public’s attention with just visual effects. Though the content might be great, one needs to understand that timing is equally important. On top of Mahesh’s film, there are crazy movies like ‘Saindhav’, ‘Eagle’ and ‘Naa Sami Ranga’ arriving as well. But only time will tell if the decision of ‘Hanu-Man’ is correct or not.
