The Government of Andhra Pradesh generally releases funds for welfare schemes as per the schedule and a calendar will be announced in advance for that. Accordingly, funds are to be released for five schemes in the month of April. Despite the 15th of April, CM Jagan has not released funds for these welfare schemes yet.
On the other hand, Students are looking forward to the Jagananna Vidhya Kanuka financial assistance as the college and school management are pressurizing students. But the government has not yet made any statement on these.
As the Tirupati by-elections are underway, the political parties think that releasing all the pending dues at this time would be a huge plus to the ruling party. But Chief Minister Jagan does not seem to think so. It remains to be seen what’s the government’s strategy behind not releasing the funds for these welfare schemes.
