After the suspense over the 4 Rajya Sabha seats selection from Andhra Pradesh, now it was time for closure from Chief Minister of Telangana, KCR too. He had made up his mind and chose candidates for 2 seats that are vacant for Rajya Sabha from Telangana State. They are Dr. K. Kesava Rao and K.R.Suresh Reddy. But why them?
While there were 4 set nominations, a couple of MLAs, Ministers and AIMIM party MLAs have accompanied to support the nomination of K.K and Suresh Reddy.
As each set must be signed by at least 10 people, they were signed by 4 Ministers and 6 MLAs. KKs daughter Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, Sons Venkat and Viplav as well as his wife Padmaja Reddy had also come to the Assembly.
According to the sources, these two names were not expected to be finalised as opposed to so many other names that were under speculation in the race of Rajya Sabha nomination including KCR’s own daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha. These two are considered to be strategically chosen by KCR himself who can represent TRS’s vision better than others.
