Now that Nannaku Prematho is being hailed as an emotional tribute to father, one would expected a song on ‘father’ for sure. But it’s a wonder that the album is not carrying one, no matter how deep we dig into it, to find out.
Composed by Devi Sri Prasad, the most favourite song from Nannaku Prematho album is ‘Follow Follow’, sung by Jr NTR and it happens to be a romantic teasing song. ‘Love Dhebba’ is a commercial masala song on the lead pair, shot in a specially erected set. ‘Ne Manasu Neelo’ is a cool melody shot in exotic locales of Scotland, while Love Me Again is another romantic song.
‘Don’t Stop’ is one inspirational tune composed by DSP and it elevates hero’s character too. So, where is a song on Nanna in a movie that is being popularised as a tribute to fathers? Well, it’s not a rule that a song on dad should be composed, but if we look with conviction, it’s surely needed.
