Here’s a surprise to those who didn’t notice the name of Deva Katta in Baahubali’s ‘Thank you’ list and to those who didn’t understand why the team thanked this intellectual director. Apparently, Deva Katta wrote a few dialogues in the film’s climax involving Prabhas’ rousing speech.

Even though Deva’s contribution was small, Rajamouli didn’t forget his fellow director’s effort and duly respected with a ‘Thank you’ card in the film’s credits. Touched by this modest gesture by Jakkanna, Deva took to Twitter and expressed his surprise and happiness.

The intense writer cum director tweeted, “just penned few words to the final war speach by Prabhas in BB. The effort is like a dew drop in an ocean of @ssrajamouli creation. Acknowledging even that little effort with a thank you card only exhibits the maestro’s generous heart. humbled!!”

Deva Katta is known for his intense philosophical dialogues and Rajamouli skillfully used Deva’s sharp pen to the maximum effect.
