YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Rama Krishnam Raju has been constantly vocal from the day he started to act as a rebellion in the party. It is a known fact that this MP will not be spared by the AP CM Jagan and sooner or later he will be axed as he has been quite a few months under the sharpest edge of the knife.
Narasapuram YCP MP Kanumuru Raghuram Krishnaraja’s future speculation is mounting after he was sacked as the chairman of the Parliamentary Subordinate Standing Committee. This is because there are growing suspicions that after being fired as the chairman of the committee, he will be disqualified as an MP.
It is a fact that Jaganmohan Reddy wrote a letter to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla asking him to remove him from the post of chairman even though Krishnam Raju had said that his term as chairman had ended on the 9th. Of course, he may not have his MP post given the environment in the YSR Congress party at the moment.
So what does King Krishna do after being disqualified? The important thing to note here is that the electorate also knows that disqualification is inevitable. That is why RRR challenged the YCP leaders that if he was disqualified, he would contest again and win with a bumper majority. Although Jagan contested against him, he is sure to get a majority of 2 lakh votes. So, what is the reason behind this overconfident nature of this MP?
Point to be noted that Rama Raju’s words about Amaravati opposing the capital decentralization bill really acted as a drug in some sections of the state people. He withstood the State government’s brute force in Delhi as the former has failed to disqualify him as MP. Krishnam Raju challenge Vijay Sai Reddy and what not.
However, most importantly, he acted like a loyalist to YSR Congress Party, YS Raja Sekhar Reddy, and YS Jagan at times. This may be a strategical lifeline he created for himself in the worst-case scenario. Of course, this will not guarantee the rebuilding of the ruining state of his political career. But it may give him some breathing space before YSRCP takes such a daring step.
