Will anyone believe in Jagan?

Ending his “hide-and-seek”, beleaguered YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has finally made his presence in front of media on Thursday. Just hours after Chandrababu’s call for plan of action on agricultural loan waiver, Jagan called for a press conference and lambasted at the CM. Jagan Reddy, in his own style, took dig at Naidu and pointed out at his way of functioning. Jagan went on to allege that Naidu is “cheating” farmers and people with his “false promises”.
Although Naidu made it clear that he’d be waiving of 20% of loans in the first phase for over 22 lakh farmers, Jagan claims that the actual beneficiaries include over 1 crore. Jagan has shown the press statements of Naidu and reports of “Ghazal” newspaper Eenadu as “proof”. One can’t understand what Jagan is trying to prove? On one hand Naidu is busy chalking plans to build new capital and rebuilding Vizag that was badly hit by cyclone Hudhud and also said committed in waiving of all loans, Jagan’s press conference seems to have “backfired”.
Especially, the timing of Jagan coming out to blame is setting tongues wagging. In fact, own leaders of YSRCP seem to have caught in two minds. It seems like Jagan has done his “duty” as Opposition leader by “blaming” the leader of the state notwithstanding what Naidu’s plan of action is. Chandrababu is swiftly making moves to waive of loans.
He even generated over Rs 1000 Crore income by auctioning red sanders and now planning to use the amount to waive off loans in first phase. At a time state is going through its financial crunch, Jagan’s allegations in “delay” has no significance. In first place, Jagan is the one who opposed the loan waiver ahead of elections and now his demand to fulfill it “immediately” has no winners among farmers. What’s irony is Jagan has been tight-lipped over his party activities which is almost in an inactive state.
Especially, several leaders of top brass of YSRCP parted ways and ditched Jagan alleging his “high-handed” behaviour, “head-strong” attitude and “disrespect” towards seniors, elders. Why hasn’t Jagan came out and denied their allegations. Neither Jagan tried to clarify nor he even retaliated adding fuel to ongoing allegations. All these clearly indicate that Jagan’s YSRCP is on a downward spiral and in an attempt to showcase his party’s “strength”, Jagan now initiated a “blame game”. The big question, however, is who will believe Jagan? Will anyone believe in Jagan? Are there any takers for Jagan’s claims?
