Star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas has not made any pan-Indian movies till date. While his fellow directors like SS Rajamouli, Puri Jagannadh, Sukumar and others have made movies that cater to the nationwide audience, Trivikram decided to hold himself back for time being. We all know that the ‘Athadu’ director is known for his family entertainers with good action sequences.
The native touch and magical dialogues that makes you spellbound are his biggest strengths. When dialogue writing is your biggest asset, it will be tough to cater to the audience in other regions. Whilst Trivikram is capable of making a universally appealing movie without heavy reliance on dialogues, his hardcore fans will be heavily disappointed.
This is the main reason why he is confining himself to Tollywood despite scoring blockbusters with big heroes. His upcoming film with superstar Mahesh Babu is a straight Telugu film and there is no aim to release it on a pan-Indian level. But there are reports arriving that Trivikram is trying to take a shot at pan-Indian status by joining hands with Allu Arjun.
We all know that Bunny and Trivikram delivered super hits like ‘Julayi’, ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ in the past. With Bunny managing to get a lot of craze across the nation after ‘Pushpa’, it will be a perfect launch for Trivikram in the pan-Indian market. As said earlier, it is going to be a tough task as the wizard of words has to change his filmmaking style completely. We need to wait and see whether it is possible or not.
Coming to #SSMB28, it is a high-octane action entertainer. Haarika & Hassine Creations will be bankrolling it. Superstar Mahesh and star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas gave two memorable films in the form of ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’. They are reuniting for the third time after 12 years and everyone is expecting a hattrick from this combo. Pooja Hegde is the heroine in this film while Thaman is the music composer.
