The other day, Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao led Telangana government had decided to lift the lockdown restrictions. The government said, no restrictions will stay in place from Sunday.
Talking about the decision to do away with the restrictions, the Chief Minister said, for the ease of loving of the people, the lockdown has been lifted.
Adding further, KCR went on to say that, lockdown would be imposed and strict restrictions would be applied if fresh cases increase and the situation gets out of the control, as per the media reports.
The Chief Minister also said that, the virus spread has been restricted in the state by implementing the strict lockdown. The public shoud be cautious and continue to follow the Covid protocols, like wearing facemasks and maintaining personal hygiene, he said.
As the lockdown has been lifted, movie theatres, educational institutions, gyms, resturants which have been closed due to the restrictions were allowed to resume operations.
The education department has been ordered to take the neccesary steps to see that the institutions across the state will be reopened from the 1st of July. Physical classes will be held. Guidelines on the classes and attendance criteria will be issued soon.
