YCP MP’s Shocking Comments on Jagan

YCP chief Jaganmohan Reddy had very high hopes on Nandyal by-poll. He stayed in Nandyal for two weeks and relentlessly campaigned. However, his party candidate suffered a humiliating defeat, and many political analysts blamed Jagan for the defeat. Do YCP seniors also feel that Jagan’s alleged loudmouth is the reason why YCP lost the by-poll?

During the recent interview given to a TV channel, senior YCP MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy divulged that a lot of introspection was done post the defeat in Nandyal. He opined that Jagan shouldn’t have made the ‘shoot CM Chandrababu Naidu in public’ comments.

‘I watched Jagan’s speech on TV and I was really impressed at his confidence. Making Chakrapani Reddy resign to his MLC post was the masterstroke by Jagan. I thought that Chandrababu will be pushed into defence because of Jagan’s move. However, when I watched TV later, Jagan was being criticized by everyone for his comments on Chandrababu. All the good efforts put in until then were washed away in the storm brought in as a result of those comments,’ Mekapati reportedly said.

He added that there was no need to make such comments.
