Director YVS Chowdary’s career has two different shades. He was hailed as a great director for his super hits – Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo and Seethaiah with Hari Krishna who is not at all considered as hero material back then. Later he was crushed badly with two disaster ka baaps – Okka Magadu and Saleem. Nandmuri fans who to hold YVS Chowdary in high esteem during the days of Seethaiah.
They used to dream of an industry hit. Every one used to say if Seethaiah is for Hari Krishna we can not imagine the range of hit he delivers for Balakrishna. But it all turned reverse. Okka Magadu happened to be biggest disaster of Nandamuri Balakrishna back then.
After the film, YVS Chowdary delivered a disaster even bigger in the form of Saleem with Manchu Vishnu. He recently directed Rey with Sai Dharam Tej which could not even see light for the last four years given YVS’ bad form.
Now that it is said YVS Chowdary is using his good influence with Hari Krishna to convince NTR for a movie in his Bommarillu Banner. He is preparing script for the movie and is going to narrate it to the Young Tiger very soon. We will have to see what NTR decides on what would be a deadly project to Nandamuri fans!
