The Brahmi atom bomb, failed to explode yet again. Other day’s release Bengal Tiger has seen bigwigs like Brahmi, Posani and Prudhvi trying to make audiences laugh with their punches and satires. And that gave a clear picture of what’s going wrong with our comedy legend. In Bengal Tiger, almost all the scenes are written with full josh and proper punches for 30 years Prithvi.
Every single line written for him generates laughs no matter what the emotion is. Same is the case with Posani, as his Sastry role became another key pillar for movie’s first half. When Brahmi entered in second half, except his name ‘Amalapuram Pal’ aka ‘Amala Pal’, there is nothing afresh.
Probably director kept zero focus on Brahmi, thinking that his cutout alone would do. Voila!! If Brahmi is backed by crisp writing like it happened in the case of Prudhvi and Posani, then his role will work with double impact. Else, directors will fail him again and again. This year Brahmi has seen many such failures.
