రాష్ట్రంలో రోడ్లన్నీ జూన్ నాటికి తళతళ మెరిసిపోతాయ్.. ఎక్కడా గుంతలనేవే కన్పించవ్. ఇదీ వైఎస్ జగన్ సర్కార్ చెబుతున్న తాజా మాట. డిసెంబర్ నుంచి పనులు పూర్తయి, జూన్ నాటికి పనులన్నీ పూర్తయిపోతాయట. వారెవ్వా.. నిజమైతే ఎంత బావుణ్ణు కదా.?
వైఎస్ జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చాక, రాష్ట్రంలో రోడ్లు అత్యంత అధ్వాన్నంగా మారిపోయాయి. ‘మన పాలనలో వర్షాలు బాగా కురుస్తున్నాయ్.. అదీ దేవుడి దయతో. అయితే, వర్షాల కారణంగా ఓ చిన్న ఇబ్బంది వుంది.. అదే రోడ్లు పాడైపోవడం..’ అని పదే పదే వైఎస్సార్సీపీ ప్రభుత్వ పెద్దలు చెబుతుంటారు.
నిజమే, వర్షాలు కురుస్తున్నాయ్.. కానీ, గతంలో ఎన్నడూ లేనంతగా, సంవత్సరమంతా వర్షాలైతే కురిసేయడంలేదు కదా.? మరెందుకు రోడ్లు పాడైపోతున్నాయ్.? రోడ్లు పాడైపోవడం మామూలే.. గుంతలు పడతాయ్, వెంటనే పూడ్చి పెడితే.. రోడ్లు బాగవుతాయ్. లేదంటే, రోడ్ల మీద గుంతలు కాస్తా.. గుంతల్లో రోడ్లవుతాయ్.
వైఎస్ జగన్ హయాంలో.. గుంతల్లో రోడ్లుంటున్నాయ్.. ఇందులో ఇంకో మాటకు తావు లేదు. ఇదిగో రోడ్ల బాగు కోసం టెండర్లు పిలిచాం.. అదిగో పనులు చేసేస్తున్నాం.. అంటూ కథలు చెప్పీ చెప్పీ.. ప్రభుత్వ పెద్దలకైతే నీరసం రావడంలేదుగానీ, జనం ఆ గుంతల రోడ్లలో ప్రయాణించి ప్రాణాల మీదకు తెచ్చుకుంటూనే వున్నారు.
మొన్నామధ్యన జనసేన అధినేత పవన్ కళ్యాణ్, రాష్ట్రంలో రోడ్ల దుస్థితిపై నిరసన వ్యక్తం చేస్తూ.. రాష్ట్రంలోని రెండు ప్రాంతాల్లో శ్రమదానం చేపడితే.. ఆ ప్రాంతంలో రాత్రికి రాత్రి రోడ్లను బాగు చేసేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకొచ్చింది. ఆ తర్వాత మళ్ళీ కథ మొదటికొచ్చేసింది.
వర్షాలు తగ్గితే డిసెంబరులో రోడ్లు బాగు చేసే పనులు ఊపందుకుంటాయట. తగ్గకపోతేనో.? అంతే సంగతి. అంటే, రోడ్ల పాపం పాలకుల నిర్లక్ష్యం కాదు.. ఆ పాపంతా వరుణుడిదేనని అనుకోవాలేమో.
Telangana MLC Polls: TRS zeroes on final candidate list!
The ruling outfit in Telangana, Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) that kept everyone guessing on who would get nominated under the MLAs’ quota had announced the candidates’ list for the six positions and the candidates have filed their nominations for the same on Tuesday reportedly. Surprisingly, the candidates have filed their nominations on the last day of the nomination day.
Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Padi Kaushik Reddy( former Congress leader, current TRS leader), former Siddipet Collector P Venkatrami Reddy who recently took voluntary retirement, Banda Prakash Mudiraj, Kadiyam Srihari, and Takkallapalli Ravinder Rao were nominated for the MLC positions.
The members nominated by the TRS would be elected unanimously given the fact that the ruling outfit enjoys good strength in the Telangana Legislative Assembly. Out of the 119 member strength, TRS has 103 MLAs. Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) are the opposition parties in the state but they don’t have enough strength to nominate their candidates.
TRS had announced the list after a lot of thinking. One name that has caught everyone’s attention is Banda Prakash Mudiraj, who is serving as the Rajya Sabha member currently. He was given a chance in the MLC nominations despite not completing his tenure as a Rajya Sabha member.
The Telangana government gave second chance to candidates like Gutha Sukhender Reddy and Kadiyam Srihari in the MLC nominations that too for consecutive terms. Venkatrami Reddy who triggered the speculations of venturing into nominations by taking voluntary retirement from his services was also given a chance. His nomination as the MLC candidate is not a surprise.
Congress leader Padi Kaushik Reddy, who joined the TRS party ahead of the Huzurabad by-election in the state was supposed to be nominated under the Governor’s quota. However, he could not be nominated. The government gave him a chance and nominated him as MLC under the MLA quota.
As per the election schedule for the Legislative Council seats issued by the Election Commission, the candidates should file their nominations before the 16th of November while the nominations would be scrutinised on November 17th. The candidates can withdraw their nominations before the 22nd of this month.
Keerthy’s Good Luck Sakhi postponed again
Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming film ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, which was supposed to hit the screens on November 26, has now been postponed again. The film has already shifted its release date multiple times and now the makers have changed the date yet again.
As per the latest reports, the film will have a grand release on December 10th in theatres. The movie also stars actors Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapati Babu in pivotal roles.
Helmed by director Nagesh Kukunoor, Good Luck Sakhi is based on the life of Sakhi, who is known for bringing bad luck. Aadhi is playing the role of a traditional theatre artist and Jagapati Babu will essay the Mahanati actress’ coach in the film. Presented by Dil Raju, the film is bankrolled by Sudheer Chandra Padiri.
Besides this film, Keerthy Suresh will also be seen in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata.

నేడు (నవంబర్ 16) థమన్ పుట్టినరోజు సందర్భంగా తాజాగా ఓ న్యూస్ ఛానల్ కు ఇంటర్వ్యూ ఇచ్చారు. తన కెరీర్ లో ఒప్పుకున్న తర్వాత తన చేతి నుంచి వెళ్లిపోయిన సినిమా ‘టక్ జగదీష్’ అని థమన్ అన్నారు. ”ఆ సినిమాకి నేను చేసిన బ్యాగ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ నాని గారికి నచ్చలేదు. మళ్ళీ వేరే మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ తో చేయించుకున్నారు. దానికి కొంచం బాధ పడ్డాను. ఇలా నా లైఫ్ లో ఫస్ట్ టైం జరిగింది. నేను హార్ట్ ఫుల్ గానే వర్క్ చేసాను. కానీ ఎక్కడ తప్పు జరిగిందో నాకు తెలియదు” అని థమన్ చెప్పారు.
నాని గారి పెర్ఫార్మన్స్ నాకు బాగా ఇష్టం. ఈగ – గ్యాంగ్ లీడర్.. ఇలా నాని నటించిన చాలా సినిమాలు నాకు ఇష్టం అని థమన్ అన్నారు. నెక్స్ట్ నాని సినిమాకు మ్యూజిక్ అందించే అవకాశం వస్తే తప్పకుండా చేస్తానని.. తనకు ఈగోస్ ఏమీ లేవని.. అలాంటివి బుర్రలో ఉంచుకోనని.. మూవ్ ఆన్ అయిపోతానని థమన్ చెప్పుకొచ్చారు.
కాగా శివ నిర్వాణ దర్శకత్వంలో నాని – రీతువర్మ – ఐశ్వర్య రాజేష్ హీరోహీరోయిన్లుగా ‘టక్ జగదీష్’ సినిమా తెరకెక్కింది. డైరెక్ట్ ఓటీటీలో విడుదలైన ఈ సినిమా మిశ్రమ స్పందన తెచ్చుకుంది. షైన్ స్క్రీన్స్ బ్యానర్పై సాహు గారపాటి – హరీష్ పెద్ది ఈ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించారు. ఈ సినిమాకు తమన్ పాటలు అందించగా.. బ్యాగ్రౌండ్ మ్యూజిక్ మాత్రం గోపీ సుందర్ కంపోజ్ చేశారు.
అయితే ఆ సమయంలో ఫైనల్ మిక్సింగ్ కోసం ప్రయత్నిస్తుంటే థమన్ వేరే ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ తో బిజీగా ఉండి అందుబాటులోకి రాలేదని.. డైరెక్టర్ శివ నిర్వాణ ఫోన్ కూడా టచ్ లోకి రాలేదని.. అందుకే మరో మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ తో బ్యాగ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్ చేయించుకున్నారని టాక్ వచ్చింది. అయితే తాను అందించిన నేపథ్య సంగీతం నచ్చకే వేరే వారి వద్దకు వెళ్లారని థమన్ చెప్పడం గమనార్హం.
Bholaa Shankar Shoot Begins In A Huge Set
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Mega Massive Action Entertainer “Bholaa Shankar” to be helmed by stylish maker Meher Ramesh and produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara was launched recently in a grand manner with a pooja ceremony.
The regular shoot of the movie has commenced today in Hyderabad in a huge set erected by production designer AS Prakash. Megastar Chiranjeevi also takes part in the shoot and the makers will be canning some crucial sequences in the first schedule.
Bholaa Shankar has been making enough noise, ever since it was announced officially. The title poster, followed by Rakhi special video got overwhelming response. Meher Ramesh will be presenting the megastar in a different getup in the highly anticipated film.
The film boasts of a good story-line, an ensemble cast and a stellar technical team. While Dazzling Beauty Tamannaah Bhatia will play the leading lady opposite Chiranjeevi, smiling sensation Keerthy Suresh will essay his sister in the film which will have all the emotions and elements in right proportions, making it a pucca commercial entertainer.
Coming to technical crew, young sensation Mahati Swara Sagar renders soundtracks, while Dudley cranks the camera. Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments will be producing the film, in association with Creative Commercials, on a massive scale. Story supervision is by Satyanand, wherein Marthand K Venkatesh will take care of editing and AS Prakash is the production designer. Kishore Garikipati is the executive producer.

Saying that Rohit Sharma has proved himself as a leader, KL Rahul said the team is excited to play under him as he brings a state of calmness into the dressing room, something that everyone loves about Rohit Sharma. This is a big change and we are eagerly waiting for this, he said.
Ahead of the series, KL Rahul addressed a press conference. Talking about former Indian player, current head coach of Indian team Rahul Dravid, KL Rahul said he has known him for a long time and he is feeling fortunate for this.
KL Rahul recalled how he played under Rahul David in India A and called Dravid a person who aims at creating an atmosphere that helps everyone to better themselves as persons and cricketers. He brings a culture to put the team ahead of personal goals, he added.
India and New Zealand will lock horns for a T20 series followed by a Test series. Star players like Virat Kohli, Bumrah, Jadeja, Shami were rested for the series while a few players were given a call into the T 20 team. For the Test series, the BCCI had not picked Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant. Ajinkya Rahane will lead the team for the Test series. Virat Kohli will join the squad for the second test.

In these lines, the makers of ‘Radhe Shyam’ have released their #firstsongteaser ‘Eerathe’ today in all the languages the movie is releasing. The 16-second song teaser has nothing much to offer, other than the hero and heroine trying hard to join their hands with the details of the first lyrical song and its musician details.
Radhe Shyam is an upcoming Indian period sci-fi romantic drama written and directed by Radha Krishna Kumar starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The film is getting released in several languages on Jan 14th, 2021.
The film will also see Prabhas’ uncle Krishnam Raju playing the role of Paramahamsa along with several known actors such as Sachin Khedkar, Bhagyashree, Murali Sharma, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Priyadarshi, Sathyan, and Flora Jacob playing other important roles.

శ్రీరామ్ అందరూ అనుకున్నట్లుగానే సన్నీ, మానస్ లను నామినేట్ చేసాడు. ముందు నుండీ కూడా వీరిద్దరికీ శ్రీరామ్ కు చిన్న గ్యాప్ మైంటైన్ అవుతూ వస్తోంది. షణ్ముఖ్ అన్న మాట తాను తీసుకోలేకపోతున్నానని చెప్పి తననే నామినేట్ చేసింది కాజల్. అలాగే కొన్ని వారాలుగా ఎన్నీ మాస్టర్ పడట్లేదు కాబట్టి ఆమెను కూడా నామినేషన్స్ లో వేసింది. తనను కెప్టెన్సీ టాస్క్ లో సపోర్ట్ చేయని కారణంగా ప్రియాంకను, రెండో నామినేషన్ గా కాజల్ ను ఎంచుకుంది సిరి. ప్రియాంక తనను నామినేట్ చేసిన ఇద్దరూ షణ్ముఖ్, సిరిలను తిరిగి నామినేట్ చేసింది. తన కెప్టెన్సీ టాస్క్ లో అడ్డు పడినందుకు సిరిని నామినేట్ చేసాడు సన్నీ. అలాగే శ్రీరామ్ ను నామినేట్ చేసాడు. ఇక చివరిగా వచ్చిన ఎన్నీ మాస్టర్ మానస్, కాజల్ లను నామినేట్ చేసింది. ఈ నామినేషన్స్ ప్రాసెస్ లో ఎన్నీ మాస్టర్ చేసిన డ్యాన్స్ లు, వెక్కిరించడం హౌజ్ మేట్స్ లో కొంత మందికి నవ్వు, కొంత మందికి ఏంటిది అన్న ఫీలింగ్ ను కలిగించాయి.
మొత్తంగా కెప్టెన్ రవి తప్ప మిగతా అందరూ కూడా నామినేషన్స్ లో నిలిచారు. మరి వీరిలో ఎవరు ఎలిమినేట్ అవుతారన్నది చూడాలి.
KTR asks Centre to help States compete globally
HYDERABAD: Demanding that the Centre should financially strengthen the able and performing States like Telangana, IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday suggested that Pension Fund and Sovereign Fund be given to States towards capital investment.
Participating in a video conference Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had with Chief Ministers and State Finance Ministers, Rama Rao also wanted a two per cent increase in the State’s borrowing limit under the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act.
“States are engines of growth for the country. Encourage them to compete globally, so that they will help in GDP growth. Follow the federal spirit, implement decentralisation and strength the States, which will ultimately help in country’s growth,” he said.
“Telangana is contributing five per cent to the GDP and it is the fourth largest contributor to the country’s economy. The per capita income of the State is Rs 2.37 lakh today as against Rs 1.24 lakh in 2015. The State’s GSDP is Rs 9.8 lakh crore against Rs 5 lakh crore at the time of the formation of the State,” he added.
Stating that the country’s GDP declined due to the pandemic, he wanted Sitharaman to encourage investments in the country. He urged the Centre to give certain incentives for investments in textile, garments, toys, leather and light engineering goods, so that semi-skilled people too would get employment. He also suggested productivity-linked incentives to the MSME sector, which is contributing 30 per cent to the GDP. Finding fault with the Centre for not creating healthy competition among States, he pointed out that because of shifting of defence industrial corridor from Hyderabad-Bengaluru to Bundelkhand, the expected results were delayed by three years.
He also requested the Union Finance Minister to increase tax devolution to the States from the divisible pool. He opposed the increase in cess and pointed out that the cess collection of the Centre was just 2.3 per cent of the total revenue in 1980 but it now increased to 20 per cent. Finance Minister T Harish Rao also attended the meeting.

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss Telugu 5, Sunny and Maanas thought Ravi want to blemish anyone. Sunny was determined to control his anger during the tasks going ahead. Maanas tells Kajal that they can’t trust her in the task but she remains their (him and Sunny) friend. Kajal was doubtful about taking Maanas’ suggestion about trusting a few people in the house. Sunny asked her to follow her heart.
Nomination task:
In yet another round of open nominations, the contestants had to nominate two contestants and pour a bottle of slime on them.
Ravi nominated Sunny and Kajal. Ravi and Kajal had an argument about their differences.
Shanmukh nominated Kajal saying there will be no fights if she leaves the house. He nominated Priyanka saying he didn’t like her dismissing his reasons for nomination.
Maanas nominated Shanmukh saying he is acting based on assumptions. He then nominated Anee stating he didn’t like her reasons for nomination.
Sreerama Chandra nominated Sunny saying the latter can try calming down during the task. He nominated Maanas and asked about the five contestants he was referring to.
Kajal nominated Anee citing her cold behaviour and provocative body language towards her. Anee danced after Kajal nominated her.
Kajal and Shanmukh had a heated debate after she nominated him.
Siri nominated Priyanka and Kajal. Siri and Kajal had a heated argument, too. Priyanka nominated Shanmukh and Siri with whom she shares a lot of differences. Priyanka and Siri had an argument, too.
Sunny nominated Sreerama Chandra and the latter got offended by his reasons for nomination. Sunny then nominated Siri justifying his performance in the task.
Anee nominated Maanas stating that they don’t share a good vibe. Maanas hit back at her saying she is making too big a statement and he doesn’t want to prove what he has done for her in the previous weeks.
Anee lost her cool nominating Kajal. She danced after nominating Kajal.
Towards the end of the episode, Shanmukh, Siri, Sreerama Chandra, Anee, Priyanka, Maanas, Kajal, and Sunny got evicted for the week.
