అయితే వెంకటేష్ ప్రస్తుతం రానా నాయుడు సీజ‌న్ 2 షూటింగ్‌ తో ముంబైలో బిజీగా ఉన్నారు. అందుకే ఆయన లేకుండానే వెంకీ, అనిల్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ స్టార్ట్ అయింది. వచ్చే నెలలో అనిల్ రావిపూడి మూవీ సెట్స్‌ లో వెంకీ అడుగుపెట్ట‌బోతున్న‌ట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఇదే సమయంలో వెంకటేష్ కోసం మరో స్క్రిప్ట్ రెడీ అవుతున్నట్లు వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. విరాటపర్వం ఫేమ్ వేణు ఊడుగుల.. తన మూడో మూవీని వెంకీతో చేసేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారట.

South Korea vows to strengthen solidarity with France

Seoul, July 12 (IANS) South Korea’s Defence Minister Shin Won-sik vowed Friday to strengthen solidarity with France and other countries that share common values at an event commemorating France’s national day, his office said.

Shin made the pledge during the Bastille Day ceremony organised by the French Embassy in Seoul and the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Sebitseom artificial islands on the Han River in Seoul, according to the ministry. This year’s Bastille Day falls on Sunday.

“The Republic of Korea is serving as a bulwark to defend the free world against forces that attempt to change the status quo by force, and (we) will further strengthen solidarity with value-sharing countries, such as France, to protect the peace and stability of the free world,” he said, according to his office, reported Yonhap news agency.

Shin also hailed the service of French troops who took part in the 1950-53 Korean War, including the late Capt. Robert Goupil, as part of UN forces that backed South Korea.

The ceremony was attended by some 170 cadets of France’s Saint-Cyr Military Academy, and more than 100 cadets from South Korean military academies.

The French cadets who attended the event belong to the class of Capt. Robert Goupil, named after the late veteran who died in combat during the three-year conflict, according to the ministry.

Laos, Vietnam sign pacts to deepen cooperation

Vientiane, July 12 (IANS) The governments of Laos and Vietnam signed seven pacts on various areas of cooperation, aiming to deepen and expand the 62-year solid relationship and collaboration between the two nations.

Lao President Thongloun Sisoulith and President of Vietnam To Lam witnessed the signing of the agreements on Thursday in Lao capital Vientiane, Lao national TV reported on Friday, reported Xinhua news agency.

To Lam, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation, arrived in Vientiane on Thursday for a two-day state visit.

The visit symbolises the Vietnamese Party and State’s consistent policy of attaching great importance to the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam, said the report.

Cooperation in the fields of politics and foreign affairs has strengthened significantly and remains unwavering, with the two sides enjoying mutual trust, it added.

Both sides also noted the strong progress made in carrying out cooperation projects and agreements over the past years.

The two presidents agreed that both governments should make a greater effort to enhance and expand cooperation in all areas.

The value of two-way trade between Laos and Vietnam in the first quarter of 2024 reached $476.8 million, an increase of 12 per cent over the same period last year.
