This morning in Vijayawada, a historic ceremony unfolded as Kamal Haasan inaugurated the statue of the legendary actor, Superstar Krishna Garu.
The event was a whole-hearted tribute to the iconic figure whose influence on Indian cinema remains unparalleled. Kamal Hassan who is called as ‘Universal Hero’ inaugurating it made it even more special. It reflected the cross-cultural admiration for Superstar Krishna. Devineni Avinash, stood alongside the legendary actor.
The ceremony symbolized a bridge between generations, as the statue stands as a timeless testament to Superstar Krishna Garu’s contribution to the world of entertainment. This stands as a reaffirmation of the great actor’s evergreen legacy in the world of cinema. Fans and well-wishers gathered to witness this momentous occasion, expressing their reverence for the legendary actor.
His son Mahesh Babu is currently one of the biggest stars in South India. Krishna’s elder son Ramesh Babu passed away in 2021 while his first wife Indira passed away last year. Krishna already lost his second wife Vijay Nirmala a couple of years ago. The entire film industry mourned Krishna Garu’s death last year.

‘Dhruva Nakshathram’ Trailer: A Racy Action Thriller From Gautham Menon!
It is quite common for a star hero film to be in the making for 2-3 years in recent years. But taking ten years for an action entertainer is quite strange. Chiyaan Vikram is a hero who needs no introduction. He did a lot of versatile characters till date and he began a slick action flick named ‘Dhruva Nakshathram’ back in 2013. The movie faced a lot of stumbling blocks and got delayed for years. Now, the movie is finally arriving in theatres on 24th November 2023 and the makers released an official trailer in order to increase the expectations on this movie.
The trailer of the first part titled ‘Dhruva Nakshathram: Chapter One’ showcases that the audiences are in for an edge-of-the-seat thrilling ride. The movie revolves around 11 special officers team named ‘Basement’. Their identities are hidden and they don’t play by the rules. Chiyaan Vikram is a part of the group but has other missions as well. The trailer is very well edited and it makes you genuinely excited for the movie.
Vikram is super stylish in the salt-and-pepper look. The action sequences are quite slick and the way Gautham Menon uses the cricket analogy is quite clever. The trailer definitely packs a punch and keeps you engrossed throughout. Produced by Ondraga Entertainment along with Orioorileoru Film House, the movie is written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
Harris Jayaraj composed the music while Manoj Paramahamsa, SR Kathir ISC and Vishnu Dev are the directors of photography. Anthony is the editor while Yannick Ben is the action choreographer. A Nandamuri Clash On The Cards Once Again?
The Nandamuri heroes Balakrishna and NTR usually don’t get into loggerheads with each other when it comes to releases. It only happened once when ‘Nannaku Prematho’ competed with ‘Dictator’ in 2016. While NTR came out as the winner at that time, it took a huge toll on both movies. After 8 years, we may witness another Nandamuri clash at the box office in 2024 and this is worrying fans.
The shooting of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 109th film began recently under Bobby’s direction. Bobby is known for his rapid pace in completing the shootings and reports claim that the team is aiming to release the movie on 29th March 2024 in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Balayya’s blockbuster film ‘Legend’. While this is great to hear, the senior Nandamuri hero has to face NTR’s ‘Devara’ which is coming out on 5th April. The team of ‘Devara’ announced this date at the beginning of this year and they are confirming it on every poster. They even released a poster recently claiming that there are just 150 days left for the movie’s release.
NTR is a pan-Indian hero and owns a huge market across the nation. ‘Devara’ is being made on a massive budget and there are huge expectations on this Koratala Siva directorial. On the other hand, Balayya is riding high on the success of ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’. He scored hat-trick hits and fans have high hopes on ‘NBK109’. If the ‘Akhanda’ hero’s film decides to hit the screens on 29th March, we may witness an enormous Nandamuri clash. With differences between the two heroes extending beyond movies, the competition is going to get intense.
If both heroes manage to hold their ground and choose not to back out from the clash, it is going to be a very interesting watch for the neutral. Let us wait and see what the Babai and Abbai do in the coming days.
