Overseas market for Telugu films is booming. All good movies are raking in more than one million dollars and big movies are easily touching the two million dollars mark.

Crossing the mark of one million dollars itself was a huge achievement, Pawan Kalyan’s “Attarintiki Daaredhi” almost came near the two million dollars mark. This was three years ago. Now market for Telugu movies has almost doubled in North America.

Pawan Kalyan believes that his “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” has potential to reach three million dollars. Hence he asked the overseas distributor to releaseit  in maximum screens in USA.

The distributor has already locked about 192 locations in USA and Canada. Hence the movie can easily get one million dollar openings on day one inclusive of premiere’s amount.

Since Pawan Kalyan’s movie is releasing after three long years of gap, all his fans worldwide are eager to watch the movie.

The team behind the marketing of “Sardaar Gabbar Singh” is hoping to break the records of Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” and emerge as the second biggest hit in USA among Telugu movies.

Mahesh Babu’s “Srimanthudu” grossed 2.8 million dollars in its lifetime run.

Young Rebel Star is soon going to arrange get-together event with fans across Telugu states. Selected fans from each district of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will get a chance to meet Prabhas in Hyderabad. Prabhas will chitchat with the fans and also through a small party to them on the same day.

In fact, this will be the first time, Prabhas arranging a get-together event with his fans. Actually, Prabhas has huge fan base in Telugu states and his following enlarged post Baahubali release. The SS Rajamouli directorial made him new fans across the country.

Prabhas has made his mind to keep in touch with his fans regularly, so has planned the get-together. He will discuss various issues with fans and is expected to request them to do charity events quite often.

Tamil star Suriya is also well known for his humanitarian side. The actor, through his Agaram Foundation, has been carrying out social service since many years. But Suriya’s kindness has saved the life of a woman recently. Suriya was recently shooting for S3 in Eedigapalle in Chittoor district.

Suriya was returning to his hotel room in Madanapalle after the shoot and noticed a woman battling for life on the road after being severely injured in a road accident near Valasapalle.

Suriya quickly sent the woman to a nearby hospital in his car. Suriya got the victim administered first aid and later sent her to a multi-specialty hospital in Tirupati for lifesaving treatment.

Apparently, Suriya enquired about her health condition with the doctors after reaching Madanapalle.

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is growing bigger in Hollywood each day. Now the hot lady is adding another rare feat into her account. Priyanka is being invited to join for a dinner with the US President Obama himself.

Priyanka Chopra was invited by White House authorities to join for a dinner with Obama as a part of a program organised by the non profit White house correspondent association every year. The organisation is of reporters, producers, camera operators and journalists.

In one such nonsensical statement, Bollywood’s most popular queen of controversies, Rakhi Sawant, requested prime minister Narendra Modi to impose a ban on installing ceiling fans in every household so that there will not be any more suicides by hanging.

‘Daughters, sisters, daughter-in-laws commit suicide by hanging themselves from a ceiling fan. I want ceiling fans to go away. I request PM Modi to ban ceiling fans from everyone’s house. If you love your daughter or sister, then banish the ceiling fan. Remove it from your house and use a table fan or AC,’  Rakhi said in her press conference today.
