Casting for Oopiri in Bollywood
Bollywood Filmmaker, Karan Johar is planning to remake Nagarjuna and Karthi’s recent blockbuster film, Oopiri. He reportedly purchased the remake rights of Oopiri from PVP Cinemas. We are told that he is planning to cast Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra in the lead roles.
There are good chances that Vamshi Paidipalli may get to direct the Hindi version as well. Two years back, popular film maker, Karan Johar bought the Hindi remake rights of French film, The Intouchables and wanted to have, Mohit Suri direct the film.
But the project did not happen then due to some reason. Karan is very impressed with the adapted version, Oopiri and bagged the film rights. In fact, a genre like this will work more in Bollywood. This is because the Multiplex audience are more in Bollywood than in Telugu or Tamil.
On the other side, Oopiri is super steady in A center theaters and Multiplexes across the globe. The movie is expected to have an extended run till Sardaar Gabbar Singh release next week.

We Need Jagan!
Will the ball roll out sooner or later for YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy into Congress. Well, time and again there are rumours and speculations regarding the expected understanding between Congress party and YSRCP! This is going to be an interesting change if it works.
But on ground, there is not much change. However at the same time, it has to be said that as elections will approach in next three years, things may move ahead in that direction. As of now, a Congress strong man in Andhra Pradesh has made few comments which is changing the situation.
Chinta Mohan, former MP of Tirupathi has reportedly stated that the need of the hour for Andhra Pradesh Congress is someone like Jagan or Pawan Kalyan and he invited both into Congress fold. Although Pawan issue need not be even considered, Jagan being mentioned is interesting.
Congress party has organizational structure while Jagan has charisma and if he indeed returns to Congress fold, there may be good consolidation of vote bank. This may worry TDP as the party would have to face a strong rival! The coming days will give a clear picture.

Chinnari Pelli Kuthuru actress Pratyusha Banerjee – Anandi Commits Suicide
In a shocking incident, Pratyusha Banerjee, the 24-year-old actress who played Anandi in Balika Vadhu, the Hindi version of the country’s most favorite TV series Chinnari Pelli Kuthuru, committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Mumbai’s suburban residential area Goregaon.
Pratyusha was rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri but doctors declared her dead upon arrival. Police suspect ‘personal reasons’ as a motive behind her taking the extreme step and are investigating the matter.
Pratyusha had a fairly decent career as an actress and she was one of the highest paid actresses in the Hindi TV circuit. After starting her career with Balika Vadhu, Pratyusha also contested in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and was one of the participants of Bigg Boss 7. She was last seen in Hum Hain Na as the main female lead.
In 2013, before entering Bigg Boss 7, Pratyusha was in news when filed an FIR against her boyfriend Makrand Malhotra. In January early this year, the actress filed a case of harassment by 8 fake policemen who tried to barge into her flat when she was alone.
