A.R. Rahman is back for Dhanush
Dhanush has made Anirudh as the music director for his movies. Anirudh has composed music for Dhanush’s few movies. Same way Siva Karthikeyan has also recommended Anirudh to compose music for his movies. Anirudh has composed music for Ajith’s Vedhalam and has become as the star music director.
After the Beep song issue, Anirudh’s fame has fallen down and he was not given more chance by many actors. After Thanga Mahan, Dhanush has acted in Kodi, Thodari, Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta in which he has not recommended the music director for his movies.
Anirudh hasn’t composed music for Gowtham Vasudev Menon’s movies and he was expecting a chance for his Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta, but he did not get chance to compose music in his film. Right from his Minnale movie the director was teaming up with Harris jayaraj and later he joined hands with A.R. Rahman.
Ennai Arindaal movie’s music was composed by Harris and his Acham Enbadu Madamaiyada movie’s music was rocked by Isaipuyal. Presently the director has booked A.R. Rahman to compose music for his Ennai Nokki Paayum Thotta. Dhanush’s previous Mariyaan movie and his Hindi Raanjana movie were composed by A.R. Rahman.

In what is being seen as a clever move, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has proved once more his political acumen by announcing that the state would be installing a 125 ft statue of Ambedkar at the proposed capital of Amaravathi.
This would mark the commemoration of the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar. While no one has any doubt over whether Naidu is speaking the right language in making such as announcement, the move is aimed at pulling away the Dalit vote bank of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
When it involves balancing caste equations, one should admit that Naidu has no parallels and after facing a rout for one decade, he is now more aware of Caste factor. He attracted the Tollywood superstar Pawan Kalyan to capture Kapu vote bank and it worked for him big time.
Now Naidu is wooing the Dalits which is seen as too good by his cadre. Jagan fans wonder why their leader who has such a huge charisma is finding the going to be tough. There are more measures expected from Naidu before 2019 elections to woo Dalits!
Arvind Swamy Returns To Bollywood After 15 Years
Mumbai: Actor Arvind Swamy, who made his Bollywood debut with Mani Ratnam’s 1992 film “Roja”, is returning to the Hindi film world with debutant director Tanuj Bhramar’s upcoming film “Dear Dad”.
Arvind is said to have chosen this film to return to Bollywood because he found the subject intriguing.
“Dear Dad” is a bitter-sweet coming of age story involving a father-son duo — 14 year old Shivam and his 45-year-old father Nitin Swaminathan, a statement said.
A description for the film read: “The father-son duo embark on an impromptu road trip from their home, in Delhi, to Mussoorie (Uttarakhand), where Shivam attends boarding school. Unexpected confessions, weird strangers, accidental meetings, a drunken escapade and singing in the rain – all these add up to a complicated tale.”
According to Arvind, who plays the father in the film, such concepts don’t get made very often and needs to be told, a source close to the actor said.
The poster of the film will be released on Friday.
Actress Worried About Not Having Films In Hand?
Mumbai: Actress Sonam Kapoor, whose last film “Neerja” was widely appreciated, has not signed any new project after the movie’s release. And this, she says, is stressing her out.
Asked if she has taken on anything new, Sonam told IANS: “No, I haven’t signed anything and it’s stressing me out that I haven’t.”
In “Neerja”, Sonam played a real life character — a flight attendant who displays bravado on a hijacked plane to save the lives of passengers by risking her own.
Sonam admits that the portrayal of women in films has become stronger over the years, but she still feels that in terms of remuneration, discrimination against actresses exists.
Talking about the pay disparity, she said: “It is slowly changing, but it’s a far way off despite the numbers that ‘Neerja’ has done and despite the numbers my films have done.”
“I have been a part of female-centric films but we are still only opening to 700 screens.”
“It’s not about what the industry is paying you… It’s about whether the audience wants to see the film or not. If my film is going to open at Rs.6 crore, is it okay for the producer to pay me that money or not,” she said.

Baahubali is total crap & worst film ever!
When the whole World is heaping praises on SS Rajamouli & Team Baahubali for matching up to the Hollywood standards, One Individual feels the epic action drama is good for nothing and doesn’t deserve a National honour at all.
Punjabi filmmaker Gurvinder Singh ridiculed the National Awards Jury for picking up ‘Baahubali – The Beginning’ as the Best Film. ‘Baahubali is total crap and probably the worst film ever to receive a National Award… That too in the Best Film category. Its just a BJP Award, not a National Award. All the major awards have been bagged by commercial films and art films have been neglected completely. Not just me, Everyone isn’t happy with the choices,’ conveys the Director.
‘Baahubali’ is the only Regional Film to have bagged a National Award in major categories, Whereas rest of them have gone to Bollywood. Still, Mr. Singh feels the Rajamouli’s directorial shouldn’t have got the honour. At the same time, He complains Regional Cinema didn’t receive due recognition in the 63rd National Awards presentation.
Hopefully, The Filmmaker realizes one day that making a commercial film, acceptable to majority of the movie buffs, is much tougher than an art film appreciated by critics. Notably, Gurvinder Singh’s feature film ‘Chauthi Koot’ bagged National Award for Best Punjabi Film.
Heavy Betting on Abhinethri Alias Tamannaah
Looks like milky beauty Tamannaah is becoming the poster girl for multicrore budget movies. Already, Tamannaah is part of the country’s second most expensive film, Baahubali. Recently, her latest film Oopiri, which was made with a budget of nearly 50 crores, was released.
And now, Tamannaah’s upcoming film will feature a whopping budget of nearly 70 crores. Yesterday, Tamannaah released the title logo of her forthcoming film, Abhinethri. This film is being made in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi and the makers are pulling out all stops to make it a grand venture.
Abhinethri is a thriller, which also stars Prabhu Deva and Sonu Sood in prominent roles. Prabhu Deva is making his comeback in Tamil after 12 years. This film is being directed by Amala Paul’s husband AL Vijay of Madras Pattanan and Vikram’s Nanna fame. Writer Kona Venkat is presenting the film in Telugu
Babu Has Done A Good Job – KCR
The animosity and rivalry between arch rivals and chief ministers of both the Telugu states Nara Chandrababu Naidu and KCR is a thing of past. In an unexpected yet welcoming move, KCR drenched Chandrababu with praises for his determination in completing the Pattiseema project in a record 1 year.
The PowerPoint presentation session on irrigation projects in Telangana assembly became the witness to KCR praising Chandrababu. The Telangana CM said that Babu braved all the adversaries in the Pattiseema project and said that he appreciates Babu’s guts.
KCR went on to say that he is least interested in getting into any further disputes with Chandrababu and that he will soon sign several irrigation pacts with the AP CM. The TRS supremo also said that he suggested Babu to make modifications to the Polavaram project to divert the waters from Visakhapatnam and Rayalaseema.
KCR concluded his presentation saying that farmers will be farmers whether they belong to AP or Telangana and wished that the farmers in both the states should prosper.

As per the buzz in Filmnagar, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Prestigious 100th film, Yodhudu will have Bollywood Dream Girl, Hema Malini playing the role of Rajamatha. She will be seen as Balakrishna’s mother in the film. She was last seen in a straight Telugu film in Pandava Vanavasam, way back in 1965.
The movie will have the launch of his prestigious 100th film in the direction of Krish in Amaravati, the upcoming capital of AP. The launch event will happen on April 8th as Ugadi Special. This is the first star hero movie launch in Amaravati. Balakrishna’s earlier film, Dictator is also the first film to have its audio launch in Amaravati.
