Fans of Tollywood stars often cross their limits while displaying their love and fanaticism towards their favorite stars. In the past too, we have heard of several instances where fans of various stars clashing with each others. But a recent clash of ego and supremacy between fans of Mega bothers Chiru and Pawan Kalyan took the life of a man.
According to the media reports, this shocking incident took place recently during a drunken conversation in Bellary, Karnataka. 27-year-old Honnoorappa, a diehard fan of leading Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan, insulted the acting skills of Megastar Chiranjeevi, which irked Chiru’s fan Parasuram.
A heated argument ensued between both these fans after which an enraged Parasuram grabbed an iron rod and brutally attacked Honnoorappa. Honnoorappa succumbed to severe injuries to his head. The incident took place at Koul Bazaar in Bellary. A police investigation is going on in this matter.
Student protests in Hyderabad University are not diminishing and now stage is set for Telangana CM KCR and PM Modi to fight over it. Many felt that CM KCR adopted a soft approach on Rohit Vemula’s suicide issue as he and his TRS party is trying its best to join PM Modi’s cabinet at the centre.
Right after Rohit Vemula’s suicide everyone started demanding VC Appa Rao’s recall. VC Appa Rao who went on leave recently resumed charge and this triggered huge protests.
Police arrested violent students and with the University authorities closing the mess and stopping water supply, NHRC sent notices. Opposition parties raised the issue in the assembly.
KCR replying in the assembly said he will soon take up the matter with PM Modi in two days time and find solution. He added University of Hyderabad doesn’t fall under the purview of state government.

Strange are the ways of the political parties but if they enjoy power they can have their own way. Any state will have only one formation day. However if the ruling TRS government headed by KCR has its way then Telangana will become the first state by creating record having two formation days.
Government is planning to celebrate the Telangana state formation not once but twice every year. The first one will be on December 9th when creation of Telangana was announced and second one when the state came into existence on June 2nd.
KCR already held preliminary discussions with the CMO officials and will take up the issue in the cabinet meeting before making official announcement. Poor turnout during last year celebrations due to intense heat is increasing fears among officials that the same scenario may be repeated.
Officials say students cannot be forced to participate and even police and participants in the cultural events face difficulties in intense heat.
During the debate on the incidents at UoH and Osmania University, Home Minister of Telangana Nayani Narasimha Reddy clarified that Rohit Vemula was a Vaddera caste person and not a Dalit. This means that Rohit Vemula was a BC.
But intervening in the debate, Congress MLA Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka took objection to the Home Minister denying the contention of Rohit Vemula’s mother that her son was indeed a Dalit.
Speaking on the issue later, KCR said it did not matter whether Rohit Vemula was a Dalit or a BC. But his suicide and the incidents that followed were quite painful.
KCR is right in what he said. At the same time, the whole thing would not have become a national issue but for the fact that Rohit Vemula was thought to be a Dalit.
Had the likes of Rahul Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal and Mayawati known from the beginning that Rohit was not a Dalit; they would have hardly bothered with the issue.
The same is the case with the media. It was just another game of TRP’s and brownie points for the media and the politicians thanks to the tag of ‘DALIT’ affixed to the whole episode.
After the dominating era of NTR and ANR, Krishna and Sobhan Babu reigned the film industry with numerous blockbusters and milestone movies. Though Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh belong to the same time frame, their respective hits and flops pushed Chiru to top and that was unanimous, which need not be written anywhere.
Chiranjeevi enjoyed the super stardom as top hero of Tollywood for more than 20 years and one would not expect to see different equations during the last stage of their acting careers. Nagarjuna has surpassed Chiranjeevi with his last three blockbusters films with unbelievable collections compared to other three heroes of his time.
Nagarjuna delivered Manam, Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri from three different genres and each one of them is a blockbuster. Not just that, his devotional films like Shirdi Sai Baba, Sri Rama Dasu, Annamayya are definitely a tough zoner for a Megastar like Chiru, which were done with ease by Nagarjuna. His consistency and out of the box scripts made his the top one inarguably.
Balakrishna though suffered good number of disasters for a long period, his comeback films like Simha and Legend have earth shattering collections. Though he has to taste flops now and then, he is consistent enough to give atleast one blockbuster in two years. So, Balakrishna is not in the first place, but he is not the last too.
Venkatesh slowed down from last two years, but his Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Drishyam and Gopala Gopala would not let him go off the spotlight. Venkatesh is sure to give decent hits and surprise hits with a good choice of stories often. So, Venkatesh too is not the last among ‘the four’.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s guest appearances in Magadheera and Bruce lee could not be counted in his credit as his last movie was some 9 years ago. Politics and no proper subject for his comeback left him laggin behind all his contemperory heroes. Chiranjeevi lost his place for Nagarjuna while Balayya and Venkatesh too surpassed him as they still act in films.
The young set of heroes have taken the films to next level already and Chiru needs to pickup more movies and more hits, otherwise he will be considered retired as one ordinary hero. Is it possible for Megastar who is dilly dallying to finalize his 150th movie script from last two years?

King Nagarjuna displayed versatility of highest order by attempting three different films and garnering success with all of them. The actor is aggressively promoting his next, Oopiri and will be acting in a film titled Om Namo Venkatesa in the direction of Raghavendra Rao.
The film is the story of the Lord and his devotee, Hathiram Baba. Speaking to a media house, Nagarjuna revealed the challenges in doing the film. He revealed how there is very meager historical information about Hathiram Baba.
He also added that excepts for some inscriptions in Tirumala, there is no existing documentation about the legendary devotee of Lord. Keeravani already finished recording of two songs for the film. We know that Keeravani previously scored sensational music for Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu and Shirdi Sai.
K Bharavi penned the story after necessary research. A.Mahesh Reddy who produced Nagarjuna’s Shirdi Sai will also produce this film under his AMR Sai Krupa Entertainments banner.

That Power Star Pawan Kalyan is the sole karta, karma and kriya of Sardaar Gabbar Singh is a known fact. Pawan’s domination on Sardaar’s sets is so much that there have been rumours the film’s director Bobby has been relegated to being a co-director of sorts to Pawan Kalyan.
Even the promotional stills being released by Sardaar’s team hardly show Bobby, while Pawan, producer Sharrat Marar and other actors are featured in then. And here’s one more example for Bobby being sidelined. Currently, Sardaar’s team is in Switzerland shooting a couple of songs after which the entire shooting will be wrapped up.
Interestingly, Pawan took only a couple of assistant directors, choreographer and a limited crew to film these songs, while Bobby is in Hyderabad to complete the post-production work on time to release the film on April 8.
Usually, even though there is very less a director can do during song picturization, the presence of the director on the sets is a must to take a call on the overall concept of the song to make sure it doesn’t deviate from the story and characters’ flow. But since Sardaar is Pawan’s brainchild, the Power Star has been calling the shots ever since the beginning.
For the simple reason that the YSR family is worshipped in Kadapa, CBN seems to have completely sidelined the district from his vision of development.
Only Kuppam exists in Rayalaseema for him. Otherwise, how else can one explain the fact that a district of more than thirty lakh population has no appointees for key positions like Deputy Collector, Civil Supplies Manager, DFO and DPO?
These positions are being tended to by in-charges which is a rather pathetic state of affairs indeed.
Also, nothing is being done to address the drinking water shortage in the district which is facing temperatures as high as 42 degrees on an average.
Kadapa will never ever vote against the YS family, but CBN should try to win over the hearts of the people there through his development schemes rather than try and win over the district by purchasing the opposition MLA’s.
Once elected as CM, does he not have the maturity to realize that he is CM for the entire state and not just for the constituencies which voted for him or his community alone?
