Grand Reception for Srija in Hyderabad
Remember Srija, the younger daughter of Megastar Chiranjeevi? Few years ago, she eloped with a guy called Sirish Bhardwaj and even made allegations against her own father. But later, she got divorced and came back to her father. Srija was living with Chiranjeevi since then.
The family is getting married yet again. She is all set to get married on 28th of this month and the event is going to be a family affair. However Chiranjeevi had arranged a reception on 31st of this month at Park Hyatt hotel, Hyderabad.
The grand reception will be attended by the who’s who of the industry, VVIPS and celebrities from all walks of the society. Even few Bollywood celebrities are also expected at this glittery evening on the big day.
The bridegroom is an industrialist from Hyderabad, Kalyan. He is the son of famous industrialist, Captain Kishan of Chittoor. Kalyan and Srija are reportedly classmates in their college days. We congratulate both of them on this occasion!
Mahesh’s family visits Burripalem
Our readers are aware that Superstar Mahesh Babu had adopted two villages – one each in AP and Telangana. In Telangana, he adopted Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district and in AP, he adopted his native village , Burripalem of Guntur district.
The work in Burripalem began today Mahesh had sent his wife Namratha, son Gautam, daughter Sitara and Sister Padmini to Burripalem. They will be seeing around the village and will be identifying the needs and problems of the village in the interaction with the people there.
Previously Superstar Krishna also did several development works here. Local people are hoping that Mahesh babu will also help the village in all possible ways. Burripalem is currently being plagued by problems like drainage, roads and unemployment.
Lets see if Mahesh changes the face of the village like he did in Srimanthudu movie. On the other side, Mahesh is planning to adopt similar strategy for the Telangana village.

8000 Objections For Amaravathi Plan
Capital Region Development Authority has finished the process of collecting the opinion from public on AP Capital city Amaravathi master plan and the results are shocking.As many as 8084 objections were raised and most of them were specific about Agri zone. Surprisingly, many TDP leaders were there among the people objecting CRDA’s plan to bring already developing areas into agriculture zone.
Farmers are much worried about agriculture zone as the real boom has already gone down and if the Agri zone is declared, they may not see the rates of their lands going high anytime soon. Ruling party leaders and workers too were concerned about the capital area master plan for the same reason.
Most of the areas from Guntur and Krishna district were being brought under the capital area Amaravathi and more than 5000 sq km of land from it was planned to declare as Agricultural zone. Considering the suggestions and objections, the chances are high for CRDA to rethink on Agri zone.
KCR Borrowing Loans Only For Show-Off?
Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir warned that the show off and insane borrowing of loans would hurt the interest of Telangana State.
Initiating the debate on State Budget for 2016-17 in Telangana Legislative Council on Wednesday, Shabbir Ali accused the TRS Government of being unrealistic in dealing with State’s finance.
“Why are you so obsessed with flashy figures like Rs. 1 Lakh Cr. Your tall claims of Telangana being the richest State in India has only caused damage,” he said.
The Congress leader strongly criticised TRS Government’s decision to borrow huge loans for Mission Bhagiratha, 2BHK Housing and also for establishing power plants.
He said borrowing of Rs. 40,000 Cr for Mission Bhagiratha and Rs. 15,000 Cr for 2BHK Housing in a single year would violate the FRBM norms as both are non-revenue generating projects and there are no returns on capital amount.
He said after the moratorium period of two years, the Telangana State would be forced to spend Rs. 7,000 Cr annually on interest and re-payments of these loans.
He said that the Congress party was not against Mission Bhagarita, 2BHK housing or power projects. But State Government should give a clear-cut picture on its plans on their repayment.
“Whether you will seek Grand-in-Aids from Central Government or increase taxes to pay interest and repay these loans?” he asked.
Shabbir Ali also criticised the TRS Government for burdening the common people with a power tariff hike of Rs. 2,000 Cr and another Rs. 3,000 Cr towards Fuel Surcharge Adjustment.
Of What Use Is This Resolution?
The Andhra Pradesh state assembly on Wednesday unanimously passed a resolution calling upon the central government to accord special category status to the bifurcated state.
It has also urged the Centre to fulfill all the 17 promises made to Andhra Pradesh in parliament during the discussion on the division of the state. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu moved the resolution under Rule 77 in the Assembly listing out 17 demands.
The main opposition, YSRCP, and the BJP also supported the re solution. But this just seems to be an exercise for killing time.a similar resolution was sent to the Centre two years ago.
Did it yield fruit? No! Of what use are the resolutions in AP Assembly? Did not united AP Assembly pass a resolution against bifurcation? What came of it?

The resignations saga in beleaguered YSR Congress party seems to have no end in the near sight. After a slew of top brass of YSRCP bid aideu to Jagan and party, the latest to join the bandwagon is Koneru Prasad. Koneru, who had pitted against Kesineni Nani for Vijayawada parliament seat on YSRCP plank, lost to his rival by huge difference of over 80,000 votes.Koneru is prime accused in the sensational Emaar properties scam. UAE-based founder-chairman of Trimex Group, Koneru joined YSRCP days before 2014 polls. Koneru was close aide to Jagan and former CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Koneru’s resignation to the primary membership of YSRCP yet again proved that all is not well within YCP. This is said to be another set back for Jagan who already lost several senior leaders of the party. Looks like, there’s no end for it in near future.
