Yesteryear actress Priya played the role of heroine’s mother in the Prabhas blockbuster ‘Mirchi and got a good name for her glamorous appeal.

In the olden days, she used to play the roles of heroine’s friend and was also quite active on television shows. She then went into hibernation before making a comeback with ‘Mirchi’.

Nevertheless, movie offers have not exactly been coming her way. But she is once again on a roll on television featuring in many serials. Now here’s the thing.

Young Tiger NTR’s Janatha Garage is progressing at brisk pace in Mumbai. Nithya Menen who is the second heroine in the film entered the shoot today. The schedule in Mumbai will go on till 25th of this month and after that they will shift to Hyderabad where a special set was erected in Saradhi Studios.

The makers are considering Janatha Garage (with a tagline – Ikkada Anni Repairlu Cheyyabadunu) as the title of the film even though they did not announce it officially. They are planning to release the movie on August 12th, 2016. The release date works in the movie’s favour as there is a long weekend holiday due to Independence day holiday on Monday.

Mytri Film Makers who turned producers with Srimanthudu will be producing this film as well. Yerineni Naveen, Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar (Thammudu) and CVM (Mohan) are the producers. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music as Koratala’s previous films – Mirchi and Srimanthudu. He already started the music sittings.

Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai worked together in Badri and later got married. They were seen as a Super Jodi back then in real life too. Renu Desai stopped working after marriage but worked for few films of Pawan Kalyan as a stylist and costume designer. One more rumour about the film is that they say the movie is the sequel to Pawan Kalyan – SJ Surya’s Kushi. The music sittings of the movie are currently underway.

Last week, Bollywood media reported the special friendship with Shriya Saran, the senior actress who acted with all the leading stars of Tollywood.

Irritated by the reports, Shriya has tried to put an end to this speculation and clarified in detail about her friendship with Rana. I have known him for long time as I had begun my career in Tollywood and acted with Venkatesh, she said.

“After he started acting in Bollywood movies, he is regularly coming to Mumbai and the gang that I hang out in Mumbai is also friends with him. So this made people to link us but in reality we are just mere friends,” she explained.
