First Look: Talented Actor Suhas Becomes ‘Cable Reddy’!

Talented actor Suhas started his career on YouTube and gradually grew to the level of playing the lead characters in movies. After gaining fame through short films, he started getting hero’s friend roles in movies like ‘Majili’, ‘Dear Comrade’ and many more. Along with the regular roles, he played comedy roles and negative roles as well in order to prove his versatility.

He became a full-fledged hero ‘Color Photo’ which was released on the OTT platform due to the lockdown. The movie gained a lot of applause and Suhas’ action touched a lot of viewers. His ‘Writer Padmabhushan’ was a good success too and he is now arriving as ‘Cable Reddy’. The makers unveiled the first look poster a while ago and it generates a lot of buzz around the movie.

Sridhar Reddy is directing the wholesome entertainer, while Balu Vallu, Phani Acharya and Manikanta JS are producing it on the Fan Made Films banner. As the title and the first-look poster indicate Suhas plays a cable dish owner. While we can see numerous portable TVs from the early 2000s, Suhas is seen lying with shades on. He appears as a local lad in a red shirt and black formal pants in the poster. It looks like the ‘Cable Reddy’ will be quite high on entertainment.

The shooting is currently going on and Shalini Kondepudi is the heroine in this flick while Smaran Sai composes the music. Mahi Reddy Pandugul takes care of the cinematography while Kranthi Priyam is the art director. More details about this project will be coming out soon.

Sharwanand’s 35th movie (#Sharwa35) has been made on a prestigious scale by People Media Factory. With all but one schedule now completed, the film’s promotional campaign is set to kick into high gear starting in October. The makers are extremely happy with how well the film has shaped up so far.

Krithi Shetty, who has been such a sensation ever since her first movie ‘Uppena’, turned a year older today. The beauty will be seen in a unique, author-backed role in Sharwa35, directed by the talented filmmaker Sriram Adittya. Marking Krithi’s birthday, People Media Factory is pleased to put out a special video and a fab poster. Krithi’s role is not only unique but also prominent in the film.

Sharwanand is going to come before the audience with a super-interesting role in this potential blockbuster. The title of the movie will be announced soon at a grand event.

Samantha’s Plan Is ‘Not To Have A Plan’!

Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is back in India after her long trip to the USA and she recently had a chat session with fans and answered their questions. Samantha talked about how taking steroids for Myositis took a toll on her skin and surprised the fans by being quite open about it.

She even talked about the rumors of her being the female lead in Salman Khan’s next film under Karan Johar’s production and Vishnu Vardhan’s direction. Revealing about her future plans, she said, “My next project is to actually not have one. Not having a plan. I want to be more selective about the things that I work on. The things that really push me out of my comfort zone, until I get a role like that, I think I am okay.”

Samantha has faced multiple flops in recent times like ‘Yashoda’ and ‘Shaakunthalam’. Her ‘Khushi’ too did not deliver as expected and is being termed as a commercial failure. All the hard work she did despite her health issues, has gone in vain.

She worked on an action thriller web series under Raj & DK’s direction. This Indian version of ‘Citadel’ has Varun Dhawan as the male lead and Samantha worked quite hard. The release date for this series is unknown.

Gopichand To Team Up With His ‘Jil’ Director Again!

Macho hero Gopichand faced a huge disaster in 2023 with ‘Rama Banam’. The film ended up in huge losses. Gopichand is known for his mass action flicks and commercial family entertainers. His last couple of films tanked at the box office quite badly. He is trying to score a single hit from a long time and he is currently working on ‘Bhimaa’.

Also, there is a talk that he might team up with his ‘Jil’ director Radha Krishna Kumar soon. ‘Jil’ is not a super hit and it was a cost failure as well. But Gopichand was presented in a very stylish manner and people praise it as a good film now. Looking at Radha’s talent in ‘Jil’, Prabhas gave him a chance and the director made ‘Radhe Shyam’ with him. The high-budget love story was a massive failure and Radha Krishna Kumar is yet to start his next film.

Sources say that he recently impressed Gopichand with a script and the hero liked it as well. Though the ‘Yagnam’ hero is yet to sign the dotted line, the makers are reportedly making necessary preparations as well. UV Creations banner will be producing this flick. Let us wait and see how things turn out.

Apart from that, he is expected to launch his film with Sreenu Vaitla soon and ‘Bhimaa’ will be released at the end of this year. A Harsha is the director of this movie while Ravi Basrur is the music composer.

Bunny Vas Confirms That It Is Not A Remake Of ‘Nayattu’!

Nayattu’ is a movie that created a sensation in Malayalam two years back. This movie which showed how members of the system become victims of the same system and end up as scapegoats in the end got a lot of critical acclaim as well as commercial success. Within a few months of its release, the talk of a Telugu remake came up.

Geetha Arts banner bought the rights and Karun Kumar is the director of it. Rao Ramesh, Priyadarshi and Anjali were supposed to be the main cast. But the film did not go on floors due to various reasons and with the same banner making ‘Kota Bommali PS’ with Srikanth, Rahul Vijay and Shivatmika Rajasekhar in the lead roles, many assumed that it is a remake of ‘Nayattu’.

But producer Bunny Vas revealed in a recent press meet that ‘Kota Bommali PS’ is not a remake of ‘Nayattu’. He stated that they took 2-3 key scenes from the movie and changed the entire story according to the Telugu nativity and the taste of the audience. He confirmed that they never thought of recreating a classic like ‘Nayattu’.

Teja Mari is the director while Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi are the producers. Jagadeesh Cheekati is the director of photography while Rajnin Raj and Midhun Mukundan are composing the music. Karthika Srinivas is the editor while Gandi Nadikudikar is the editor. Bunny Vas stated that the movie will either be released on 13th October or November 24th based on the first copy and the market situation. He even let out his political aspirations by saying that he will contest in the upcoming elections in Pawan Kalyan gives him a seat.

As we all know, ‘Jailer’ which released in August did exceptionally well. The film featuring superstar Rajnikanth in the lead role was a blockbuster and minted more than 600 crores at the box office. Looking at that film, many Mega fans felt that Chiranjeevi should also take up such roles instead of doing unwanted remakes like ‘Godfather’ and ‘Bholaa Shankar’. But insiders reveal that ‘Jailer’ director Nelson Dilipkumar narrated a story to Chiranjeevi before starting a movie with Rajni.

Apparently, Nelson gave a narration to Chiranjeevi before ‘Beast’ was released. The legendary actor wanted to wait until Vijay’s film releases in order to know the verdict and then take a decision. With the movie getting a flop talk, Megastar reportedly decided to turn down Nelson’s script and go ahead with other Telugu projects. Also, the lack of songs and dances too played a big part in Chiru rejecting Nelson’s film.

With ‘Jailer’ becoming a sensational hit, Nelson became a hot property once again and grapevine suggests that he recently had meetings with Chiru and Allu Arjun as well. While Bunny is working on ‘Pushpa 2’ and has Trivikram and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s projects in hand right now. Chiranjeevi does not have anything big except for the two films he is yet to start.
