There are only a few days left for the film’s release and fans are eager to see Anushka back on the big screen after a long time. Talented actor Naveen has handled the promotions single handedly and toured various cities and colleges. But there is not much hype about the movie going by the trends on social media. With Anushka not showing any interest in coming in front of the press or the fans, the entire responsibility fell into the hands of Naveen. వెటరన్ నటి లైలా ఒకప్పుడు ఎంత ఫేమస్ అన్నది చెప్పాల్సిన పనిలేదు. `ఎగిరేపావురమా` తో టాలీవుడ్ కి పరిచయమైన లైలా చాలా సినిమాల్లో నటించింది. తమిళ..మలయాళ..కన్నడ భాషల్లోనూ మంచి గుర్తింపు దక్కించుకుంది. కెరీర్ పీక్స్ లో ఉండగానే ఓ బిజినెస్ మ్యాన్ వివాహం చేసుకున్నారు. అటుపై సినిమాలకు దూరమయ్యారు. కుటుంబ జీవితంలో అంకితమై మళ్లీ సినిమాల వైపు వచ్చింది లేదు. అయితే ఆ మద్య `సర్దార్` సినిమాతో మళ్లీ తమిళ్ లో కంబ్యాక్ అయ్యారు.

ఆ తర్వాత తప్పు తెలుసుకుని క్షమాపణలు అడిగారు అనుకోండి. ఆవేంటో ఆమె మాటల్లోనే.. `2001 లో `నందా` సినిమా చేసాను. అప్పటికి నాకు సరిగ్గా తమిళ్ రాదు. చాలా తప్పులొచ్చేవి. డైలాగులు సరిగ్గా చెప్పలేకపోయేదాన్ని. దీంతో డైరెక్టర్ బాల పదే పదే తిట్టేవారు. అలా తిట్టడంతో నాకు బాగా కోపం వచ్చేది. కానీ అలా చాలాసార్లు కోపాన్ని అదిమి పెట్టా. కానీ ఓ రోజు మాత్రం పట్టలేనంత కోపం వచ్చేసింది. దీంతో దర్శకుడు ముందే అరిచేసా. సినిమా చేయనని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పాను.
అప్పుడు నా దగ్గరకు కొంత మంది వచ్చి నచ్చజెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేసారు. బాలా దర్శకత్వంలో పనిచేస్తే మంచి పేరు..గుర్తింపు వస్తుందని బ్రతిమలాడారు. నా లైఫ్ గురించి వాళ్లు అంతగా చెప్పడంతో అప్పటితో నా ఆవేశాన్ని తగ్గించుకున్నాను. అప్పుడు అలా ఉండటం నిజంగా నాకు ఎంతో పేరు తీసుకొచ్చింది. నందా రిలీజ్ రోజు థియేటర్ కి వెళ్లాడను. అక్కడ ప్రేక్షకులు హడావుడి..అరుపులు..కేకలు చూసి సర్ ప్రైజ్ అయ్యాను. తెరపై నేను ఇంత బాగా నటించానా? అన్న సందేహం నాకే కలిగింది. అది చూసి నేను షాక్ అయ్యాను. వెంటనే బాల దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి ఆయన కాళ్ల మీద పడి క్షమాపణలు అడిగాను. మీ కోపం ఎందుకో నాకు ఇప్పుడు అర్ధమైంది అన్నాను. ఆ సినిమాకి గానూ ఉత్తమ నటి అవార్డు కూడా అందుకు న్నాను` అని అన్నారు.
అదే చివరి సినిమా కావాలనుకున్నా: పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు!

అయితే పవన్ తన తల్లి అంజనాదేవికి చెప్పిన రోజు సాయంత్రమే ఆ సినిమా షూటింగ్ మొదలవుతుందనే విషయం తెలిసింది. సినిమా మొదలయ్యాక అసందర్భమైన డ్యాన్సులు, వారిచ్చే కృతకమైన బట్టలు వేసుకోవడం పవన్ కు ఇష్టముండేది కాదట. దీంతో మొదటి సినిమానే చివరి సినిమానే కావాలని బలంగా కోరుకున్నారు. అయితే ఇంతలోనే రెండో సినిమా.. గోకులంతో సీత అవకాశం వచ్చింది. మొహమాటం కొద్దీ పవన్ ఆ సినిమాను చేయాల్సి వచ్చిందట.

అయితే జానీ తర్వాత కూడా ఆయన కుటుంబం.. ఈ ఒక్క సినిమా చేయ్.. తర్వాత మానేద్దువు అంటూ ప్రోత్సాహం అందజేస్తూ వచ్చింది. అలా ఒకదాని తర్వాత ఒకటి ఇప్పటిదాకా పవన్ సినిమాలు చేస్తూ వచ్చారు. ఇది తాను కోరుకున్న జీవితం కాదని.. భగవంతుడు ఇలా నడిపిస్తున్నాడని పవన్ పలు సందర్భాల్లో చెప్పారు. నటుడిని కావాలని, రాజకీయ నాయకుడిని అవ్వాలని తాను ఎప్పుడూ అనుకోలేదు అని వెల్లడించారు.
