The highly circulated gossip on Akkineni Akhil is set to take up his second assignment under the direction of Krish appears to die down with time. Now, the name heard in film circles to team up with Krish for his next is again Varun Tej. The duo has delivered a safe and highly appreciated ‘Kanche’ which actually gave a proper direction and recognition as an actor for Varun Tej.

After etching the central characterization of a World War II soldier in ‘Kanche,’ the new script on which Krish is working is reported to have the lead character as Secret Agent. However, the confusion on who is it going to take up this heroic role, whether it is Akkineni Akhil or Varun Tej sprung up in film circles. An undercover agent fighting on a mission inherently has those heroic attributes needed for a typical Telugu hero. Anyways, producers are justified in spending 100 Crores budget as a safe bet on Telugu heroes and that’s an achievement. Naga Chaitanya’s Majnu, the remake of Malayalam blockbuster, Premam began its regular shooting this morning in Vishakapatnam. The proceedings began with an important scene on Chaitanya and Shruti Hassan. The first schedule will go on for 22 days there.

Majnu will be shot extensively in the exotic locales of Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Goa, Europe, Pollachi and Araku. Anupama Parameshwaran and Aisha Sharma are the other heroines.

Buzz is that Nagarjuna will be seen in a little cameo while Victory Venkatesh will play the hero’s father in the movie. More details of this project later. Karthikeya fame Chandoo Mondeti is wielding megaphone for this remake venture.

Director Srinu Vaitla had filed a complaint on star writer Kona Venkat in Film Chamber. Vaitla alleged that Kona is making statements defaming him in media and urged the Chamber biggies to take action on him.

This is regarding Kona’s comments that his scenes for Bruce Lee were kept aside and as a result, the movie’s failure brought him a lot of shame to him as he is the writer for the film. However Kona seem to be not worried about Vaitla or this complaint.

Amidst rumours doing rounds that hero Varun Sandesh’s engagement might get pushed to a new date, his father Jeediguntla Vijaysaradhi gave clarity to media about the whole happening. The other day Varun Sandesh got admitted in hospital and there was no clarity whether our hero is down with fever or any other ailment.

His father has today confirmed that Varun Sandesh got diagnosed for Malaria and today morning he is discharged from hospital. There is no change in the engagement ceremony that is scheduled for December 7th.

In addition, there is soft corner on director Sampath Nandi who waited years for his next project after Racha. Brahmanandam and Prithviraj episodes are expected to be hilarious. The glam divas Tamanna Bhatia and Rashi Khanna’s oomph factor is going to be big boon for the picture.
