‘1-Nenokkadine’s disaster result was a major setback for Sukumar as a director. When the director was roped in as the director for Young Tiger NTR’s ‘Naannaku Prematho’, everything didn’t appear a fine feather. On the other hand, success would come once in a blue moon day for NTR till the release of ‘Temper’. At this juncture it appeared like a wild goose chase the project to be hyped.

However, one success of Sukumar in the form of ‘Kumari 21F’ has made the difference and made the director merry. In fact, Sukumar left megaphone to debutant Surya Pratap and stepped into the shoes of a producer of the movie. Even then, Sukumar’s presence was felt in the movie. which in turn created additional hype on ‘Naannaku Prematho’.

Speculations are doing rounds that ‘Naannaku Prematho’ is being sold out with record prices in various areas. In Nizam, Abhishek Pictures reportedly bagged the movie’s rights to Rs.16 crores. In Overseas, the movie fetched Rs.7.10 crores while in Ceded the movie was sold out to Rs.8.45 crores. In other areas also the movie is likely to do record business among NTR’s films. Like previous films of NTR, it’s not going with the stream. Roots and branches of the film, for now, might not be revealed by the production team. However, at the end of the day, they wish to win the laurels. As men of letters are working for the movie who include NTR and Sukumar, there will be bright chances the movie to hit the bulls eye.

Slowly recovering from the failure result of ‘Bruce Lee,’ the time gap taken by Ramcharan to accept his next assignment ‘Thani Oruvan’ Telugu remake is surely acceptable. To be directed by Surender Reddy, there is internal news on entire Tamil script is re-written ensuring that hero-villain conflict is made more balanced. In the original, Aravind Swamy as antagonist dominated the total show subsiding heroism from Jayam Ravi. Analyzing the reasons behind consecutive failures, Charan and Chiranjeevi offered plenty of inputs to Surender Reddy during the script re-writing.

Apparently, Kona is here to discuss about his upcoming film ‘Sankarabharanam’ releasing in the next week. It is known that youth crazy heroine Rakul Preet Singh will sizzle opposite to this interesting project. The movie will go on sets in the month of December.

Meanwhile Varun Tej’s upcoming film ‘Loafer’ is being directed by maverick director Puri Jagannadh. Disha Pathani plays female lead of the movie while Sunil Kashyap scored the music of the film. The movie has been made on First Frame Entertainment.

For more than a year, yesteryear heroine turned politician Jeevitha Rajasekhar was stuck in a legal tangle when a film financier named Sama Chandrasekhar Reddy filed a cheque bounce case against Jeevitha. The Erramanzil Court even sentenced Jeevitha to 2-year imprisonment and slapped a penalty of 25 lakhs. Jeevitha was later released on bail.

However, Jeevitha got a major relief today as the court finally struck off the cheque bounce against Jeevitha today. Expressing relief, Jeevitha vented out her angst and vowed to drag Sama Chandrasekhar Reddy to court for pushing her info mental tension for more than a year for no reason.

Jeevitha also alleged that Sama Chandrasekhar Reddy tricked her by financing her and further taking her cheques in 2007 during the making of Yevadaithe Nakenti. Jeevitha warned Sama Chandrasekhar Reddy of a defamation suit. Meanwhile, the financier said that he will move the High Court against Jeevitha.

Daaru Peeley Bro is a crazy song blended with Telugu, Hindi and English lyrics and is set in a rural pub like setup. The song talks about the advantages of boozing, though in a funny and lighthearted manner. Directed by Uday Nandanavanam and written and produced by Kona Venkat, this Nikhil-Nanditha Raj starrer is releasing on the 4th December.

Kumari 21 F, that’s the name resounding every where. To what genre its content might belong, the super entertaining narrative picked by director Surya Pratap Palnati has impressed audiences. Sukumar’s story and Devi Sri Prasad’s songs added a punch to it. No analyst is saying this, the box office numbers itself are proving that.

A week after its release, Kumari 21 F minted nearly 10+ crores share from box office. While it made 6+ crores in first weekend itself, on the regular week it haven’t lost its sheen. These numbers are quite huge compared to the investment made on the film.

Into its second week, the disappointing performance of Size Zero and Thanu Nenu has given a clean edge to Kumari 21 F. While family audiences might pick Anushka and Avika Gor’s films, but youths will stick to watching the Raj Tarun and Hebah Patel starrer. That might pack a solid second week for the film.

Initial reports revealed that neither cinematographer Ratnavelu, nor Devi Sri Prasad have taken their salaries for the film but took a share in profits. No doubt, they are going to walkaway with double their regular payment.

Clarity is slowly emerging about the Pongal releases as Nagarjuna has confirmed his movie for the release of January 14, 2015. Though it is not yet clear whether Nandamuri Balakrishna and NTR Jr would compete for Sankranthi festival, Nagarjuna has already locked the theatres for his movie in all areas in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Soggade Chinni Nayana is the movie that is coming from Nagarjuna on Sankranthi festival.

Earlier he planned to release on his sentiment festival Christamas but the actor who is also producer of the movie has pushed to Sankranthi after he getting a whiff that one of the stars in the Nandamuri family would not be releasing his movie for the festival. Nagarjuna hopes that there won’t be much competition this Sankranthi except another big movie. On the other hand, Christmas festival will see many movies competing with each other.

So, talk is that second order heroes like Ram, Vishnu and Naga Chaitanya have been asking him to make films with him.

Buzz is that Rana has also approached Vaitla to make a film with him. Apparently, Rana went to the extent of saying that he would produce a film on his banner for Vaitla in exchange. However, Rana is supposed to start working in Baahubali 2. So it is not clear if he wants to do the film now or after completion of the film. Well, he made the offer, now it remains to be seen who Vaitla will work with.
