Malayalam Blockbuster ‘Premam’ movie will soon be remade in Telugu with Naga Chaitanya. The title of the movie was earlier considered as ‘Majnu’ which is also a super hit film’s title of King Nagarjuna.

Latest reports from film nagar reveal that the production team is not interesting in ‘Majnu’ title of the movie. They are contemplating to change the title of the movie as ‘Premam’, the original version’s title of the movie. The makers feel ‘Premam’ would be an apt title for this romantic entertainer. However, the word conveys no meaning in Telugu. It remains to be seen whether the makers opt for the same title or do they prefer another title for the movie.

Stunning beauty Shruti Haasan has recently signed for ‘Premam’s remake while Anupama Parameswaran will be seen as another heroine of the film. Chandu Mondeti of ‘Karthikeya’ fame will direct this movie. The movie’s regular shoot will kick start from December 1.

The regional censor board is reportedly not making it easy for the makers of upcoming Telugu movie Affair. Based on love making of two girls, the movie is said to be a story of two lesbians who are deeply in love with one another.

Featuring Prasanthi and Geetanjali in the lead roles, the movie is directed by Sri Rajan. Tummalapalli Ramasathyanarayana, who earlier produced Ice Cream series with director RGV, is producing the movie.

Apparently, Ramasathyanarayana is a bit disappointed with the censor woes. Sources close to producer say that if the movie is passed by Censor it’s ok, else he has plans to release the film on YouTube, video-sharing platform.

Many in the industry are now buzzing that Ramasathyanarayana seems to be inspired from director RGV and walking in his path by making bold films. But the moot question is whether the story itself is bold or does the movie has any substance?

Nandamuri Bala Krishna is clearly ahead in the race over NTR as he has even announced the audio launch date for his movie Dictator with all details officially. Both NTR and Bala Krishna are competing with each other to release their movies during Sankranthi 2016, with both of them hoping that either one would go for ‘middle-drop’.
