If a film flops, gone are the days where a hero moves to his next project. Now every hero is getting answerable to both fans and trade people. Some distributors have made the tag #MoneyWapsi quite popular here. From Rajnikanth to Ram Charan, none are sparred.

As his son’s debut film Akhil went for a duck, thereby leaving distributors in the lurch with almost 55-60% losses inevitable, Nagarjuna is now worried what these distributors will say. Most likely some distributors might ask for a refund of their investment as they are prepared only for a 25% loss. Reports are arriving that Nagarjuna has taken the mantle of pampering those irked distributors who lost big chunks with his younger son’s movie.

Already a secret meeting is said to have held between Nagarjuna and the mediators who are cooling down distributors. Couple of other Akkineni films theatrical rights are said to be promised for them at reasonable prices.

Director Puri Jagannadh and actor Varun Tej’s next Loafer is getting good buzz in the trade circles. Proving this right and taking many by surprise, the film has been sold for Rs 7.5 Crore in Nizam alone. Abhishek Pictures, who bought Srimanthudu, Nani-Anil Sunkara movie, has bought the theatrical rights of the film in Nizam region.

Given that Varun Tej proved his mettle with Kanche (though the film didn’t fare well at Box Office as expected), and Varun collaborated with mass director Puri, expectations on the film have shot up.

Already the film’s trailer was received well. The mass avatar of Varun joined with the glamour treat of actress Disha Patani and Puri’s narration are said to be key elements in Loafer. Though in between, the makers want to name it as Maa Amma Mahalakshmi, later Puri fixed the initial choice of Loafer. If all goes well, the movie will be released on Dec 18.

Unlike late NTR, thespian Akkineni Nageswara Rao concentrated mainly on one or two particular genres of films and got succeeded in a magnificent manner. And ;the genres he had got great command were romantic and family entertainers. Having done the movies with these genres he stood as on par with NTR as a number one hero. His movies such as ‘Devadasu’, ‘Mooga Manasulu’, ‘Prem Nagar’, ‘Premabhishekam’ etc. got industry hit and blockbuster statuses.

And King Nagarjuna, who was succeeded dad’s legacy, followed the footprints of dad’s. He proved to be the romantic hero with the movies like ‘Majnu’, ‘Geethanjali’, ‘Criminal’ ‘Manmadhudu’ etc. Although he has done a couple of mass entertainers, he was mostly recognized as a romantic hero of Tollywood. Nagarjuna’s eldest son Naga Chaitanya also scored resounding hits like ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, ‘100% Love’ and proved himself another romantic hero Akkineni compound.

Akhil, the younger son of Nagarjuna, however, had become belligerent to show the difference from Akkinenis’ camp. That’s why, he picked out an out and out mass entertainer as his debut film instead of choosing a romantic entertainer. He has got skilled in dances and fights to prove his mettle as a mass hero. But the end result is a dud. It’s now learnt that Akhil feels penitence about choosing an uncomfortable genre for his debut movie. He reportedly decides to make no blunders with his second venture. If the reports from inside sources are to be believed Akhil’s second venture would be a romantic entertainer with full of commercial elements in it.

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s astounding performance in his latest offing ‘Kanche’ received boundless appreciations from all corners. The movie has great chances to win awards in many departments this year.

Having scored the success with ‘Kanche’, Varun Tej is now all set to show stylish and rugged side of his. His new movie ‘Loafer’ has created good buzz among the trade and this is clearly witnessed with the movie’s Nizam’s business.

According the grapevine, ‘Loafer’s theatrical rights were bagged by Abhishek Pictures for a whopping Rs.7.50 crores for Nizam area. Maverick director Puri Jagannadh has directed this movie while Sunil Kashyap has composed the music of the movie. Disha Patanis has romanced with Varun Tej in the movie. The movie was produced by C Kalyan. The film is expected to hit the screens in the last week of December.

A nine rated Channel has telecasted a program today, which is meant to compare the remunerations of Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Prince Mahesh. Having watched this program, it is understood, the Channel has misled the viewers by hiding some facts on the remunerations. According to the Channel Mahesh has been paid Rs.23 crores for Murugadoss’ project. In fact, Mahesh and Murugadoss’ project was not yet launched and it will probably be launched in the early first half of next year. Even before the start of the shoot of the movie, Mahesh’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ will be released.

On the other hand, the Channel reported Pawan Kalyan had pocketed Rs.18 crores for ‘Atharintiki Daredi’. But then, the Channel has not mentioned about the remuneration taken by Pawan Kalyan for ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ such that no way the comparison is justified between a movie (AD) which hit the screens in 2014 and another movie which might get released in 2017 (Mahesh-Murugadoss). It is also being speculated the Channel is innocent in telecasting about program. ” Somebody might have prompted the Channel to make it a paid program, as the remunerations of no other star heroes have been mentioned and Pawan Kalyan’s status is degraded,” suspected a movie buff.

Star heroines will be getting direct requests from producers these days to turn glamorous at public events. Some starlets like Samantha turn up flaunting their waist and back quite openly, much for the sake of bringing that sparkle to these events. What if the producer or director doesn’t like this skin show?

They say, only few Telugu heroes are ready to team up with Nitya Menon because they don’t to get suppressed in terms of screen presence due to her.

Gossipmongers have recently come up with cooked up stories that one of the most eligible bachelors of the industry Naga Chaitanya would soon be marrying a girl of his love interest. Naga Chaitanya, however, has a clarity on his marriage.

” I am very clear and open about my marriage. I have already asked dad to select a suitable girl to me. I may prefer the girl selected by the elders or a love marriage. I am also flexible enough to get married either tomorrow or later,” says Naga Chaitanya.

Bellamkonda Srinivas is currently working on the remake of Tamil comedy drama Sundara Pandian directed by Bheemineni Srinivas. After a lot of delay, Srinivas had started his second film with another director.

The film is currently in the last leg of its production and it is being planned for Sankranthi-2016. Bheemineni Srinivas Rao recently delivered a super hit with his last film, Sudigadu. The movie has got a whopping 3.51 Crore for the Ceeded rights of the film.

Bheemineni Sunita is producing the film on her Good Will Cinema banner. Sri Vasanth who scored music for Sudigadu is also working for this film. More details of this project will be announced very soon with the title announcement of the film.

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s highly anticipated 100th film will go on floors next year. Boyapati Srinu is likely to direct this much awaited movie. According to the inside reports the title of the film is being contemplated as ‘Godfather’. However, an official announcement from the makers is awaited.

Balakrishna is busy with the shoot of his forthcoming film ‘Dictator’ at the moment. Billed to be an action entertainer ‘Dictor’ is being helmed by Sriwass. Anjali and Sonal Chowhan are playing the romantic interest of Balakrishna in the movie.

‘Dictator’s is slated for release on 14th January, 2016 as a Sankranthi gift for the fans. Eros International is producing the movie. Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan have penned the script. They have also done the screen play of the movie.
