From an awesome movie like Pelli Pustakam to many films of the present day, versatile actor Raavi Kondala Rao is a gem of a person, not just for acting but also for his character. Much before Pelli Pustakam he’s present in many NTR-SVR era movies and as he shares his experiences, our jaws go dropping.

Explaining about the egos of many popular actors, Kondala Rao reveals that from golden era to this modern era, egos haven’t gone. ‘A star villain like Rajanala felt sad when he has to catch my legs during a scene. He said to me, ‘what is my fate? why I’ve to catch your legs even after being such a big star? how lucky you’re!!’. Though he has done the scene, his words to me in person, explains how egoistic he is’, the senior actor said. At the same time, he spoke about a present day hero too.

‘One day I got a call saying I’ve to do a father character in a popular hero’s movie. Though the character is just for one scene, they want me in that role. Because that hero wont be touching legs of any other actor of the present day. That’s how our star actors are’, Raavi Kondala Rao says, vowing that he won’t reveal any names. Seems like stardoms are spoiling many heroes.

The world is captivated by the selfie craze. Indian smartphone users are not late in joining the selfie bandwagon, and the 24-year old Hyderabadi youngster Bhanu Prakash Racha is all set to take this selfies madness to a global level. Bhanu Prakash is gearing up to challenge NFL star Patrick Peterson’s Guiness World record of 1,449 selfies in one hour.

A Hyderabad based mall will host Bhanu Prakash’s selfie marathon on September 18, with officials from Guinness World Records presenting to oversee the record breaking feat. Bhanu is sure of taking 1,800 selfies and set an unprecedented record. Bhanu first started out with 120 selfies in 3 minutes, beating Dwayne Johnson’s selfies of 105 selfies in 3 minutes.

Bhanu then set his eyes on the ‘Most self-portrait photographs (selfies)’ category and sent his application to the Guinness World Records, challenging  Patrick Peterson’s record. The Guinness World Records accepted to witness his feat recently. To pursue his madness with full sincerity, Bhanu even quit his job at a city hospital and started practicing clicking selfies full-time.

To prepare for the Guinness event, Bhanu started exercising to strengthen his arms and wrists. Already, Bhanu managed to click 1,700 selfies in one hour, and he is confident that he will achieve the target of 1,800 selfies in one hour.

Ever since the news of Superstar Mahesh Babu showing interest in the remake of super hit Tamil action thriller Thani Oruvan was broken this morning, Super fans and even fans of other stars are betting high on whether Mahesh will break his 16-year old tradition. Confused? Well, Mahesh made his acting debut in 1999 with Rajakumarudu.

In these 16 years, Mahesh Babu never acted in a remake film. This staggering feat itself speaks volumes about Mahesh’s penchant for acting in original stories. Mahesh himself revealed in several interviews that he does not find remakes interesting since it is nothing but a repetition of an already proven script.

However, with reports of director Jayam Raja arranging special show of Thani Oruvan for Mahesh, and the Superstar reportedly quite impressed with the film, it is highly likely that Mahesh will indeed break his own set tradition of not doing remakes. Meanwhile, Ram Charan is also said to be in talks with the director to remake the film in Telugu.

Even after a year of the blockbuster success of Kaththi, star Tamil hero and director, Vijay and Murugadoss, are still haunted by plagiarism charges. Ever since the film was released in October last year, director Murugadoss has been facing several plagiarism charges. Last year, a script writer claimed that Murugadoss allegedly copied his script.

Now, a court in Tanjaore, Tamil Nadu issued summons to Kaththi hero Vijay and director Murugadoss, cinematographer George C Williams and executive producer Neelakantha as defendants in the case and ordered them to appear in the court on 15th October. The court issued summons following a plagiarism suit filed by young filmmaker Anbu Rajasekhara.

In his suit, Anbu alleged that Murugadoss lifted the basic plot of his short film Thaaga Bhoomi without his consent. The court has gone through the young director’s petition thoroughly and issued notices to the defendants recently. Not just the basic story, Murugadoss is also accused of stealing several hit scenes in Kaththi from various Hollywood flicks.

It is matter of time Nani gets his second in the elite club of One Million dollars gross at USA Box Office. Earlier he had this feat with Rajamouli’s Eega but this time with the help of no star director.

The movie is super steady in Overseas and had amassed $860K by Monday with some locations yet to report. Even the Monday collections are superb with $140K as per the last reports. The movie is just a whisker away from the one million dollars club.

The movie is looking at a sensational 20-25 Crore share in its full run across the globe. The movie is rock steady in all the areas of the Telugu States on a working day even with rains in many places.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s earlier film, Govindhudu Andari Vaadele is dubbed in to Tamil and is gearing up for a release there. The movie is titled Ramleela in Tamil and will be releasing on 25th of this month.

Ram Charan had good success in Tamil with his Magadheera (Maveeran in Tamil) and never really made an impact on Tamil market after that. This late releases may not help improving his market there.

Directed by Senior director Krishna Vamsi, Govindhudu Andhari Vaadele is a decent hit in Telugu. The female leads in the film – Kajal Agarwal and Kamalini Mukherjee are also known faces there. So that should help the movie to some extent.

The suspense is finally over. We have seen and heard several titles for NTR’s next under the direction of Sukumar. But finally the makers have decided to stick with ‘Nannaku Prematho’. This was informed by a very reliable source from NTR’s compound.

The makers are going to release the motion poster of the film on Vinayaka Chaviti. The movie is being planned for January 8th 2016 release as Sankranthi Special. They are nearing the end of the current schedule in London and will shift to Scotland from 15th of this month.

The schedule there will go on till 23rd and from there, they will move on to Spain for another little schedule. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing NTR for the first time in this film. Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu are playing important role in the movie.
