Rana Daggubati gives a helping hand to Naga Chaitanya for his upcoming film, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo. The giant is playing a little guest role in the movie according to the sources. The recently released first look teaser has got good response from the audience.

The makers have recently shot the film in Araku and until now more than 60% of the movie shooting is complete. The movie is a bilingual and the Tamil version has Simbu playing the lead role.

Ravindra Reddy is producing the film in Telugu under his Dwaraka Creations banner while Kona Venkat is co-producing it. AR Rahman is scoring the music.

The Pre-Climax sequences of NTR’s next are currently being shot in London. The current schedule there will be complete by September 24th and then the team will head to Spain for a 10 days schedule. Majority of the shooting of the film, nearly 80% will be completed by then.

Remaining will canned in a non-stop schedule in Hyderabad. The movie is being planned for January 8th 2016 release as Sankranthi Special. Rakul Preet Singh is romancing NTR for the first time in this film.

Rajendra Prasad and Jagapathi Babu are playing important role in the movie. Attarintiki Daredi fame BVSN Prasad is producing the film on his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

On August 22 this year, Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi turned 60 and as expected celebrations were all over the place. From superstar Salman Khan to Nagarjuna Akkineni to southern stars Balakrishna, Suriya to top directors, politicians, and creme dela creme of society were part of grand gala do and greeted the star.

However, his younger brother Pawan Kalyan, who is equally a big star and turning 44 on Wednesday (Sep 2), is quite different from his elder brother. Unlike his brother, Pawan Kalyan has totally cut off from the rest of the world for his birthday and has left to an undisclosed place along with his close-knit family.

“He (Pawan) doesn’t like to celebrate his birthday and doesn’t want to be seen or greeted by fans, closed ones and hence he left to an undisclosed place. This is not first-time either. He does the same for each and every birthday right from his childhood and this time too he’s no different,” said a source close to the star who doesn’t even know where Pawan Kalyan is.

It’s learnt that Pawan Kalyan is accompanied by his wife Anna Lezhneva and the duo’s daughter. Neither his close aides nor any of his team members or house keepers know where he headed with family. Contrary to his Mega Star brother Chiranjeevi, Pawan wants to maintain to keep his birthday very low-key affair and  doesn’t want to be in public domain at all.

“Once he returns to Hyderabad, he will join the shoot of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, franchise of his previous blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Pawan is taking care of each and every detail of the film in which he has put in his heart, soul,” said the star’s close friend and producer Sharrath Marar.

Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan might be the two of the biggest stars in the Telugu film industry and might have forayed into politics by floating their own political outfits Praja Rajyam, Jana Sena respectively. Chiru merged his Praja Rajyam with Congress and presently a member of Rajaya Saba of Congress. However, Pawan didn’t contest the general elections but supported TDP-BJP combine and campaigned for the NDA without expecting anything.

Despite bad form, young tiger Jr NTR’s upcoming attraction Nannaku Prematho is doing shocking pre release business. While rights for few areas were already closed, negations are on for other territories. Latest buzz is that, satellite rights of the Sukumar directorial have been sold for a fancy price of Rs 9 crores (including tax the price will be around 10.5 Cr) to Gemini TV. This is indeed career best price for NTR. However, an official confirmation is awaited on this.

Usually, family entertainers do better satellite business. Although Nannaku Prematho is touted to be a revenge drama, the film will also have other commercial elements like comedy, glamour, dances and romance. NTR who concentrated only on mass films in his career starting stages is making efforts to astonish other sections too to widen his market. While films like Adhurs and Baadshah made NTR close to families, Nannaku Prematho with Sukumar style comedy will help him to lure classes. Well, satellite business is positive sign for the film.

Nannaku Prematho shooting is currently happening in London. The film’s teaser will be out for Dasara, while theatrical release is planned for January 8th.

Telugu Desam Party leaders have queued up to wish and greet Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on his 44th birthday on Wednesday. While many took to social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter to convey their greetings, few others chose to the extent of releasing commercial ads in Television media to express their love for the Power Star.

TDP’s MLA from Vijayawada Central constituency Bonda Uma tops the list. Uma’s TV commercial wishing Pawan Kalyan and hoping that Pawan would continue his relationship with TDP like before has become talking point among political circuit.

Joining the bandwagon of TDP leaders’ wishing Pawan is none other than Nara scion and TDP Party Workers’ Fund Coordinator Nara Lokesh who greeted Pawan through a post on his micro-blogging page Twitter. Nara Lokesh wrote, “#HappyBirthday to @PawanKalyan. Wishing you success, abundance and happiness now and always!”

Actor Vishnu Manchu is all set to stun the audience with his high-voltage action performance on the lines of Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Tony Jaa in his aptly titled forthcoming film Dynamite. Apparently, Vishnu is paying tribute to the legends through his fight sequences in his next Dynamite.

A perfectionist to the core, Vishnu who continues to grow as an artist, flew to Bangkok for a grueling training session to master martial stunts under the watchful eye of a well-known martial art coach to learn falls, fights, and reactions.

When asked why he had to embark on learning stunts which a body double could have done Vishnu says, “I want action sequences to be realistic. The fans love their Hero to do stunts and I told my director that I don’t want to compromise. So, I headed to Bangkok which is one of the finest destinations for learning stunts.”

Pranitha, who earlier paired up with Manchu Manoj, will now be seen romancing Vishnu Manchu in the action thriller. Directed by Devakatta, the movie will hit the theaters world wide on September 4.

Historical and war based films will have no language barriers. However, creative director Krish who is coming up with universal subject of Kanche is not utilizing the market trend. The Varun Tej and Pragya Jaiswal starrer will have eye-popping visuals and grandeur, apart from very strong characterizations and emotions which will connect to all sections of audience. Love story set in World War II backdrop, Kanche should have pan-India release.

Taking inspiration from Rajamouli’s Baahubali, Gunasekhar is releasing his production and directorial venture Rudramadevi in Hindi, Tamil and other languages. Rajamouli is a good friend of Krish, so the ace director should teach his friend of market strategies for wide release of Kanche.

Moreover, Krish is familiar to Bollywood since his debut directorial ‘Gabbar Is Back’ was an above average grosser. He is well known face to Tamils with decent hit of Vaanam (Vedam remake). Rather limiting Kanche for Telugus, Krish and his producers should think big and try reaching the film to other territories too. Meanwhile, Kanche is all set to grace theaters on October 2nd for Gandhi Jayanthi.
