Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is already the second biggest hit of Telugu Cinema. The movie had already collected a whopping $2,821,216 by the end of its third weekend after its release. The movie stood in the 12th position among the 2015 highest grossing international films in the US.

Trade experts expect the movie to touch $3 million dollars by the end of the next weekend. Srimanthudu is the only Telugu movie after Baahubali to touch the 3 Million dollars mark.

Interestingly other than Srimanthudu and Baahubali, no Telugu movie ever touched even 2 Million dollars gross in US. This phenomenal performance of Srimanthudu just reiterates Mahesh Babu’s unwavering craze among the US audiences.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s Kick-2 has witnessed a massive fall on the fourth day after its release. Monday being the first working day after the movie release, had a damaging effect on the movie. Kick-2 barely managed 40% occupancy in most locations.

Despite being a flop, the movie had did extremely well in the first weekend of its release. The movie had amassed close to 14 Crore share across the globe in the first weekend of its release.The makers have chopped off 13 minutes from the movie so as to make it more appealing.

But the trimming is of very less effect on the audience. Kick-2 is made with the biggest budget in Raviteja’s career. The budget shot beyond Raviteja’s market and so Kalyan Ram had to release it in deficit.

The first schedule of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Dictator is now completed in Hyderabad. The makers are very soon planning an extensive shoot in Hyderabad, Delhi and some unseen locations in Europe. The makers are targeting Sankranthi 2016 release.

Dictator is the 99th film in Balakrishna’s career. Srivas who garnered a super success with Loukyam will be wielding megaphone for this project. Eros International is producing the film while Srivas himself is the co-producer under his newly launched Vedaashwa Creations banner.
