Mahesh Babu finally gives green signal to Brahmotsavam
Superstar Mahesh Babu is buoyed by the super success of Srimanthudu. The actor almost completed the promotional works of the movie and is slowly shifting his focus on to his next, Brahmotsavam.
The movie will start rolling from October 10th. The movie will be shot non-stop till the completion and will see the light as the first release in Summer 2016. Brahmotsavam was to begin last month but Mahesh Babu put it off to a later date to accomodate more time for Srimanthudu promotions.
Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Pranitha are playing the female leads in this film. Srikanth Addala who delivered a super hit to Mahesh with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is hoping to recreate the magic once again. Potluri Vara Prasad will be producing the film on his PVP Cinemas banner.
Dynamite to explode on 4th September
After missing out on the summer season due to the box-office biggies like Baahubali and Srimanthudu, Manchu Vishnu’s latest home production, Dynamite, is finally set for an action packed release on 4th September. Dynamite is an out and out action thriller and the majority of its story unfolds at night.
Directed by intellectual director Deva Katta, Dynamite features never seen before chase sequences and a gripping screenplay. Vishnu built a well toned body for this film and he will even sport a cool tattoo. Ravishing young beauty Pranitha will be seen as Vishnu’s heroine.
With the Tollywood trade witnessing good cash flow thanks to the back to back successes of Baahubali and Srimanthudu and the decent openings for Ravi Teja’s Kick 2, Manchu Vishnu will be hoping to keep the momentum going and cash in on the good pre-release buzz for Dynamite and strike big at the box-office.
Top Stars Should Break Barriers On Screen
What happens if top stars maintain animosity between them, especially with their mindless punches on screen in the name of publicity and entertaining fans. A recent trailer of a hero from a well known star family has those endless punch dialogues aimed at other heroes. When watched in theatres, those films might match the context, but for now they are igniting sparks between fans.
In reality, why couldn’t Tollywood blur the differences. What we heard from all the happenings is that all these big stars are good friends. Can you imagine Balayya dancing for Mutamestri and Shankardada songs? But that happened. Hero Nani came as chief guest for Nitin’s function, while Naresh-Manchu Manoj are always there for Nikhil. Sometime back Charan attended NTR’s film launch, while Akhil-Charan drove together for another event and NTR bonded with Pawan at a wedding. Mohan Babu is centre of attraction at Mega60 bash. But these so called star heroes and small heroes are busy throwing punches at other films and dialogues in their movies. This should be changed.
When Chiru and Balayya are so close in real life, their films should reciprocate the same. Isn’t it? Suppose if Nandamuri songs are played in Mega films, Mega dialogues are heard in Mahesh’s movies, Young heroes films references are used in Pawan Kalyan’s film, imagine how film lovers would feel.
If stars reciprocate their friendships inside the movies by breaking all barriers, happiness will be all over. Egos will be burned, fan-clashes, online war of words, twitter abuses and facebook insults will be toned down. Otherwise with so much negativity engulfing over each other due to these barriers not broken on screen, where will society end up watching these films?
Why Pawan Kalyan Picked Kajal Agarwal?
It is dream of any heroine to work with Pawan Kalyan at least once in life time. Luckily, Kajal Agarwal has got the opportunity to romance the Power Star with Sardaar Gabbar Singh. Due to continuous flops, Kajal is almost fading out of industry. No star hero or filmmaker is keen on casting Kajal in their films. The smiling sensation has recently signed to romance Raghava Lawrence in Motta Siva Ketta Siva. One wonders how Kajal could acquire Sardaar.
Apart from working for Sardaar, Pawan Kalyan is also spending time to fight for farmers welfare. It may take long time to complete the film’s shooting. Hence, Pawan ordered production unit to look for a known actress who can allot bulk dates at required time. Kajal appeared to be best option for the film. When approached, Kajal also readily nodded for all the demands, why wouldn’t she. The actress will join the film unit in third schedule to start in next month.
Anisha Ambrose of Alias Janaki fame was first choice for the film. Nevertheless, she was opted out of the film with opposition from Pawan Kalyan fans.
Sardaar Gabbar Singh being directed by Bobby is expected to release during Sankranthi or in summer. –
Srimanthudu Makes Buyers 200% Happy
After conquering Tollywood box-office, Mahesh Babu’s latest blockbuster Srimanthudu is now ruling the ticket counters in the God’s own country, Kerala. After grabbing the film’s Tamil version Selvandhan’s entire Kerala rights for a modest amount of 12 lakhs, leading Kerala distribution house Sopanam Films released it in close to 45 theaters on the eve of Independence Day.
As per the latest trade reports from the Malabar land, Selvandhan has grossed double the investments and all the local buyers and exhibitors are have witnessed a tremendous 200% return on investment all in just a week’s time. The film is still running successfully in several screens across Kerala.
Selvandhan has also been adjudged a huge hit in Tamil Nadu, as the film has collected nearly 1.26 crores until now. With this, Mahesh has successfully consolidated his craze among the Malayali and Tamil audiences. Mahesh’s previous Malayalam release was 1 Nenokkadine, which ran successfully. With Brahmotsavam’s straight Tamil version, Mahesh is all set to rule the hearts of his fans down south.
Acting Aamir’s stunts, 2 boys crushed under train
Little can children understand that the risky action sequences they watch in a Cinema or on television are performed under strict professional guidance and full security measures. Sometimes they take the risk of enacting the risky stunts for real which may take away their lives even.
One such horrifying incident happened in Gujaini area of Kanpur when two boys tried to imitate a stunt scene from Aamir Khan’s movie ‘Ghulam’. They had a bet to race a speeding train and jump out of the railway tracks just in time to escape before a minute. Tragically, the two boys got crushed under the speeding train.
What parents were left with were badly severed body parts of the two boys. This happened under a train on Khanpur-Jhansi railway tracks on Friday.
Chiru Remix song: Loses on romance, nativity & style
For mega heroes, remixing megastar Chiranjeevi’s super hit numbers have become like customary. The latest one which was remixed for Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Subramanyam For Sale’ is the most catchy duet ‘Guvva Gorinkatho’ from ‘Khaidi No.786′. For ones who had watched the original song, the remix doesn’t live up to the original.
Be it the emotion, nativity or style; the original is top notch. It’s colourful with undercurrent themes of romance and sensuality. The closeup shots of Chiru and Bhanupriya are a delight to watch with subtle expressions. The remix falters in all these angles. Even the choreography of the original is more interesting.
The soul of the song is missed out. Even for those who didn’t watch the original, the composition when heard without the video seems better than the picturised remixed version on Regina and Sai Dharam in a foreign locale. Bhanupriya and Chiru killed it with style and romantic expressions. Of course the ambience and their costumes added to the feel.
