Most of the celebrities from Tollywood believe in sentiments and hero Nagarjuna is not exemption for this. The Damarukam star has a sentiment of releasing his films in December. In fact, many of his films released in the month were turned out to be blockbusters including Mass, Manmadhudu, King etc. His production venture Uyyala Jampala was also a super hit. If some reliable sources are to be believed, Nagarjuna asked makers of his younger son Akhil’s debut film to postpone the movie from October to December.

Akhil’s launch pad film being directed by VV Vinayak is in last stages of production. The director and producer Nithin initially planned to release the socio fantasy on October 21st as Dasara special. Nonetheless, they are now looking for feasibility in December, following Nagarjuna’s instructions. While Nag’s December sentiment is one reason for the proposed postponement, heavy rush during the festival is other reason.

Ram Charan’s high octane action entertainer Merupu in Sreenu Vaitla direction is gearing up for October 15th release. Apart from this, more than half a dozen films are hitting the screens in October month. Thus, Nagarjuna and Akhil’s producers consider of postponing their film, rather clashing with giants. However, we need to wait for official confirmation regarding the postponement.

It is a known fact that, all is not well between babai Balakrishna and abbai NTR, although both the stars respect Nandamuri fans and TDP followers. Balakrishna and NTR haven’t clashed at the box office thus far as not to split fan groups. More over, it will give hint of disputes among family members.

Surprisingly, Balayya and NTR announced their first conflict with upcoming films aimed for Sankranthi release. NTR’s Nannaku Prematho and Balakrishna’s Dictator are arriving to theaters during the festival season. Nevertheless, Nandamuri fans are not too happy with the BO fight and are requesting both the stars to avoid it. Clash among other stars may not affect film collections, but it will affect badly if stars from same family competes.

In fact, fans are main reason for a film getting huge openings, irrespective of talk. If fans are divided, then it will be problematic for both the films. Additionally, NTR and Balakrishna delivered flops with their last releases.

So, one from Balakrishna and NTR would be in Sankranthi race and other may come either in December or in January last week.

National media speculated that, Bollywood actress and Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta doubted her team members involvement in match fixing. She even complained to BCCI regarding the same in a recent meeting. According to the reports, “Zinta said her team’s approach was suspicious, but couldn’t lodge formal complaint in the absence of evidences.”

Shocked with the reports, Zinta clarified that the news is completely false. The actress also stated that she is proud of her team, though it failed to reach semi finals in last IPL season. Preity cleared the air by releasing a statement:

The makers of Ram’s Shivam have announced their release plans. The movie is being planned for October 2nd as Gandhi Jayanthi special. The final schedule of the movie is currently on in Sweden and Norway where they are shooting songs of the movie.

Touted to be an out and out mass action entertainer, the movie is directed by a debutante Srinivas Reddy. The project was supposed to be for Nithin. But it was put off after the movie was launched due to some creative differences.

Raashi Khanna is romancing Ram for the first time in this film. Ram’s uncle, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, is producing the film under his Sravanthi Movies banner. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Young Tiger NTR’s Nannaku Prematho (Tentative title) is currently being shot in London. The makers are targeting January 8th release as Sankranthi Special. They are also planning to dub the movie in to Tamil and release the movie simultaneously.

Post the super success of Baahubali in Tamil, Telugu star heroes are keen to dub their films in to Tamil and release simultaneously. Mahesh did that with Srimanthudu as Selvandhan in Tamil but did not do well there.

The makers are confident of completing the movie in December and release it for Sankranthi 2016 as planned earlier. The editing of the film is already going on at real time basis so as to avoid post production delays.
