Drinking pics went viral, College girls suspended
Two 2nd year BBM girl students have been suspended by The Kukke Shri Subrahmanyeswara College in Mangaluru, Karnataka, after a few images of the girls carrying wine and beer bottles at a tourist place went viral on WhatsApp a month ago. The action was taken as a part of the college’s discipline.
The college is run by the KSS Temple Trust and its administration comes under the state government. This led the authorities buckle under pressure from the locals and student organizations, even though the images were not taken in the college campus. Following the suspension, an enquiry committee has also been formed to probe into the matter.
While the parents are yet to file a complaint about the viral photographs, the moral policing by the college authorities angered social media activists, who lambasted the college administration for acting on an incident that did not take place inside the college campus.

Pawan Kalyan’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej has earlier locked his pedda maavayya Chiranjeevi’s birthday, August 22nd, as the launchpad for audio release of ‘Subramanyam For Sale’. Due to some unknown happenings, he postponed that by a day thereby coming on August 23rd.
At the same time, Pawan’s hardcore fan Nitin, who often banks on his dem-god for saleability of his films, has also fixed the audio release date of his ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ on 23rd only. Going by the film’s title itself, we could read that Nitin has intentionally named it after Kalyan’s name.
With two audio functions happening on same day, its tough for either of the ones to get attention from media. What made Nitin fix the same date as Sai Dharam Tej is something we have to see. While Mickey J Meyer composed music for Subramanyam For Sale, both Karthik and Anup Rubens scored for Courier Boy Kalyan. That’s tough competition all over.
Why they were laughing at Srimanthudu audio launch
During the audio launch of Srimanthudu, Mahesh Babu, Namrata, Shruti Haasan, Mahesh’s brother-in-law Jayadev Galla and Victory Venkatesh were seen watching something on a mobile phone and laughing their hearts out. This amusing scene was telecast live and fans who watched it on TV and later on YouTube were curious to know why they all were laughing.
Here’s the real reason behind this incident revealed by Mahesh Babu himself. During the Superstar’s chat with his Facebook followers this afternoon, one of his fans asked Mahesh why they were laughing looking at the mobile phone. To this, Mahesh replied saying that they were watching Sitara dancing to the same program at home.
With Mahesh’s revelation, the whole incident only got even more amusing. Usually, Mahesh brings his son Gautham to most of his filmy events. However, Sitara, still being a small child, often stays back at home. But looks like the doting dad in Mahesh doesn’t want to miss his daughter and well, mobile phone connected him with Sitara in a cute way.

Finally, Megastar Chiranjeevi has opened mouth about his 150th film. In an interview to a leading TV channel, Chiranjeevi affirmed to finalize the movie mostly in 2 to 3 months time. “I didn’t like 2nd half of the story narrated by Puri Jagannath,” added Chiranjeevi.
Mega fans expected the announcement to come on the actor’s birthday falling on August 22nd. However, it is not happening since script for the film is not finalized yet. While Puri Jagannath and VV Vinayak are in probable list to helm the project, several writers are preparing different stories. Puri Jagannath even registered the title ‘Auto Johnny’ with Film Chamber of Commerce for Chiranjeevi’s milestone venture.
Chiranjeevi wants his landmark mark 150th film to be mass and commercial entertainer, comprising of a social message. The project is delayed for long time as no script has lured Chiranjeevi hitherto. Ram Charan will produce the flick, whilst his mother Surekha gaaru will present it.
Buzz is that, Chiranjeevi will be seen in a cameo in Ram Charan’s Merupu being directed by Sreenu Vaitla. Chiru will reveal many things including 150th film at his birthday celebrations to be organized on Aug 22nd evening at Gachibowli Stadium.
