Mahesh participated in a brief chitchat with his fans on his Facebook page this afternoon. When a lady fan and him how Namrata and Gautham reacted after watching Srimanthudu, Mahesh said, “They were ecstatic & proud.. eyes filed with happy tears.

Mahesh also said that Namrata and Gautham watched Srimanthudu 7 times, while Sitara watched it twice and even matches her steps with her dad’s to the film’s songs.

After two back to back disasters, Mahesh is back with a bang with the sensational success of Srimanthudu. After clocking record numbers in almost all the centres it released, Srimanthudu has already broke even in all the areas except Nellore and Uttarandhra and is still managing to collect decent shares in its second week.

Surender Reddy directed Kick had given kicking second life to Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in tough times. The actor is expecting its sequel Kick 2, hitting the screens on 21ts of this month, to provide him hat trick success. His previous hits were Balupu and Power.

Expressing his special concern over Kick series, Ravi Teja declared third installment for the Robinhood kind of drama. “If everything works, there will be Kick 3,” announced Ravi Teja during his interaction with media, as part of Kick 2 promotions.

Even after delivering one of the biggest blockbusters like Race Gurram, director Surender Reddy chose to work with Ravi Teja for Kick 2. This describes Suri’s love towards Kick series.

Another great news heard from sources is, top production and distribution house Eros International impressed with Kick 2’s new trailer and is negotiating with the filmmakers for theatrical rights.

If deal finalizes, Kick 2 makers will pocket profits prior to the film’s outing. Kalyan Ram is producing the hilarious action entertainer that has gorgeous Rakul Preet Singh playing leading lady. Brahmanandam is said to be big boon for Kick 2.

Interim, Ravi Teja is busy wrapping up Sampath Nandi directing Bengal Tiger to release in November.

Date With Hrithik, She Drags Coke To Court

A woman named Shikha Monga from Chandigarh has been in a legal tussle with the world’s leading beverage company Coca-Cola since 2003. Apparently, Shikha, who was then a college going teenager, spent all her pocket money and bought several bottles of Coca-Cola to take part in a Kahona Pyar Hai promotional contest in the year 2000, in which the company announced that the winner will go on a dinner date with the Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan.

Even though Shikha won the contest, the company never kept its promise and upon repeated meetings and writing numerous letters, Shikha was offered Rs. 5 lakhs as the company was unable to arrange the dinner date with Hrithik. Shikha, after realizing that the company had cheated her, filed a law suit in a local court in 2003, claiming Rs. 2.5 crore as damage charges for causing her insult in the society.

After 12 long years, the court finally issued notice to Coca Cola. The court also exempted Shikha from paying Rs 2.43 lakh as court fee saying that “the applicant is not possessed of sufficient means to pay the court fee and she is indigent.” In her law suit, Shikha stated that she felt humiliated because of Coca-Cola as all her friends and relatives kept on asking her about her dinner date and that she was called a liar.

Mahesh’s Meeting Is A Trouble For Others

Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to thank his fans for making “Srimanthudu” a stupendous hit that has collected nearly 70 crores ‘share’ by now. After thanking them through media, through his success meets, he’s now getting ready to hold a “Thank You” meet on August 20th at Shilpakala Vedika. That’s a good idea but it might foil the chances of others.

Both “Kick 2” and “Rudramadevi” are the two films that are waiting for a soft slot at box office where they can escape of the pressure of Baahubali and Srimanthudu easily. For that reason, they have waited for nearly two months and zeroed on August 21st and September 4th respectively.

After the release, Baahubali has anyway minted 500 crores and then stopped its promotions. But even after grabbing 100+ crores gross, Srimanthudu is not stopping his publicity streak. If he holds a Thank You meet on August 20th, that is going to shadow the August 21st releasing Kick 2.

Because if Mahesh holds a meet a day before, surely he’s going to grab all the attention. Every media house will give exclusive coverage about the event and people will also stay busy discussing about it. There is no way Kick 2 could emerge tall from the herd if Srimanthudu still continues his publicity.

Coming to Rudramadevi, already promotions of this 70 crore budgeted epic drama are not at all impressive. There is no aggressive ways of taking the film to crowds by roping in the lead stars of the film including Anushka, Rana and Bunny. Though our Size Zero hottie is trying her best, that’s not enough.

And for the little promotions what they are doing, Srimanthudu is a menace because after wrapping Hyderabad Thank You meet, this village-adopting chap is coming to Vizag and Vijayawada too. We have to see how these other upcoming biggies will tackle Mahesh and his meetings.

Naidu’s name Appears 22 times in Chargesheet

babu

The Telangana ACB has mentioned Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s name at least 22 times in the chargesheet it submitted in the ACB special court in lieu of the cash for vote scandal. The ACB even tried to establish that all the accused in the case acted on Chandrababu’s directions.

The ACB prepared the chargesheet primarily based on the statements of the complainant, TRS nominated MLS Elvis Stephenson and other supporting evidences like video footage and the telephonic conversations. The ACB tried to prove that the prime accused Revanth Reddy and Bishop Sebastian acted at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu.

The ACB filed the chargesheet against the T-TDP leaders, MLA Revanth Reddy, Head of the TDP Christian cell Bishop Sebastian, Revanth Reddy’s aide Uday Simha and the mediator Jerusalem Mattaiah as A1, A2, A3 and A4 respectively in the cash for vote scandal in which the ACB caught Revanth Reddy while bribing Stephenson Rs. 50 lakhs to vote for a TDP’s candidate in the MLC polls.

Chandrababu reacts to Pawan’s comments

Following a series of tweets by the Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan, who requested and opposed the AP government against using the land acquisition act to take the multi-crop lands from the farmers in the capital region, the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu has finally broken his silence over Pawan Kalyan’s comments.

Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, Chandrababu said that he does not find faults in Pawan Kalyan’s comments about land acquisition. The CM further stated that 95 percent of farmers in the capital region have already given away their lands for Amaravati construction. Chandrababu lashed out at the YSRCP and Congress for misleading and provoking the remaining farmers against capital construction.

Meanwhile, TDP minister Narayana has already said that the party respects Pawan’s concerns towards the farmers and assured that the lands will be taken from the farmers in a healthy environment without using any force. The last leg of land pooling will begin on 20th August.

Indian brides spying on grooms before marriage

bride

In a startling revelation, the number of UK based Indian-origin families employing private detectives to spy on their prospective grooms before marriage is growing multifold. Reports suggest that the families, and in most cases brides themselves, have been taking these ‘pre-wedding services’ from detective agencies to check the character behavior of their grooms before finalising the arranged marriages.

Usually, the cost of these detective services start from £100 for a thorough background check on the grooms. However, in a recent case, Raj Singh, a director of Lion Investigations, charged 4,500 pounds for carrying out his surveillance for several weeks.

The background check mostly starts off with finding out simple details like what car does the groom drive and how much does he drink etc. In some cases, the brides to-be even shell out more to find out the groom’s sexual relationships and if he is hiding any health and other related secrets.

In a recent case, the father of a bride to-be found out that his prospective groom from India was only marrying his daughter so that he could get an entry to the UK and that he had plans to leave his daughter once he’s settled in the UK. The surveillance cost him more than 2,500 pounds but he has saved even more by not marrying off his daughter to a cheat and even saved his daughter from suffering a heartbreak.

The business is flourishing in the UK, with nearly 20 spying requests a month from the Asian clients and mostly from the females.
