Actress Asin is all set to enter a new innings of her life. She is going to get married Rahul Sharma, the founder of India’s largest Mobile company, Micromax. They are dating each other for few years now. Asin had confirmed this to a national media house.

She also said that she stopped signing new projects from the last two years to give more time to her personal life. While the further details of the marriage plans are not revealed, buzz in Mumbai is that the date for the wedding will be announced very soon.

Asin had decent success down the South and went to Bollywood with the remake of Ghajini. She since then had four 100+ Crore films there. Despite the successes, her career never really got going any where.

Not many must have noticed that the mesmerizing female voice in the superhit song Rama Rama from Srimanthudu, is of the Bangalore born Telugu singer Ranina Reddy. Ranina, with her refreshing vocals, enthralled music lovers in numerous hit songs like Banthi Poola Janaki (Baadshah), Pimple Dimple (Yevadu), Mee Intiki Mundo (Julayi) etc.

In an interview to a Telugu news daily talking about Rama Rama’s success, her career and experiences, the ravishing young singer narrated a painful incident that troubled her the most. Apparently, Ranina’s mother, a heart patient, was in ICU when she recorded for the superhit Banthi Poola Janaki in Baadshah.

The young singer worked with all the noted music composers down south like AR Rahman, Harris Jayraj, Thaman and Devi Sri Prasad. Ranina shares a great professional and friendly relationship with DSP and credits him for some of the hit numbers she recorded for him. After all this success, Ranina says that she feels the happiest when her mother looks up to her in pride.

According to grapevine, Ravi Teja and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Kick 2 has been deferred. Although the movie was all set to release on Aug 21, the latest reports indicate that the movie is not hitting the theatres as per the plan. Inside sources confirmed that the movie would not make it on time and going to be delayed.

“The exact reasons for the delay are not yet revealed. But chances are more that the movie might not make it on 21st. Even it’s not clear whether it would be released on 28th or not,” said a source in know of development. Meanwhile, rumour has it that delay in the post-production would be the reason behind the film’s release.  Also there have been reports that differences between director Surender Reddy and producer Kalyan Ram would possibly causing the delay.

Whatever be the reasons, the news of postponement of Kick 2 is said to be music to the ears of Srimanthudu producers and Mahesh fans. If Kick 2 doesn’t make it on time, Mahesh will be the true winner as he is expected to shatter all the Box Office records. Featuring Ravi Teja and Rakul in the lead roles, Surender Reddy is testing his luck at BO after blockbuster success of Race Gurram.

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu had a superb first weekend at the box office and is looking to smash all the non-Baahubali records. The movie had amassed about 26.29 Crore share only in Andhra Pradesh and Nizam in this three days run.

Luckily the movie will have partial advantage even on the Working days, Monday and Tuesday. Telangana had a holiday on Monday (Today) due to Bonalu festival while Tuesday is a holiday in AP due to the bandh for Special Status.

Superstar Mahesh Babu had made his Youtube debut on his Birthday today. The actor launched an official Youtube channel of his own on this occasion. The first video of the channel is that of his father Superstar Krishna wishing Mahesh on his Birthday.

The actor is entering in to 40s with this Birthday. He is extremely delighted as the occasion accompanies the Super success of his latest release, Srimanthudu. Going by the trend, the movie is expected to end at least in the Top 3 all time hits of Telugu film industry.

The actor is celebrating the Birthday with his family members and very close friends today. He is expected to begin the post release publicity of Srimanthudu from tomorrow. And his next, Brahmotsavam will have its launch on August 18th.

There is this highly hilarious scene in “Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav” movie, where Venky comes to Prakash Raj’s family and sits with them for a dinner. No one forget this iconic comedy scene, but only few know that it a blatant copy from a Hollywood film including the dialogues.

In the Hollywood comedy film “Meet The Parents” (release in 2000) here is a scene where hero (Ben Stiller) meets the parents of his girl friend at a dinner table. As he keeps talking with father-in-law (Robert De Niro), he starts a witty prayer. And then the girl’s father rolls out a scroll from his pocket and reads a poem he has written on his mother. With Venky and Prakash replacing them, Trivikram wrote every single dialogues local adaption with some humour and rhyming added to it. Director Vijayabhaskar Reddy has carved out this film.

Almost all of the recent Trivikram films have many scenes and sequences lifted from various Hollywood films like Brahmi’s tree sequence in Attarintiki Daredi from “A Thousand Words” and the famous Julayi bank robbery from “A Dark Knight”. It’s not copy, it’s inspiration.

Tollywood is abuzz with rumours that Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Rebel Star Prabhas will be turning ‘Brothers’. It is known that Bollywood heroes Akshay Kumar and Siddharth Malhotra are starring in Brothers which is slated for grand release on Aug 14th.

The film is a remake of Hollywood sports drama Warrior  (2011) starring Joel Edgerton, Tom Hardy directed by Gavin O Connor. It is coming out that filmmakers are planning to remake the film in Telugu and Tamil. It is coming out that they are planning to cast Ram Charan and Prabhas in Telugu version and Surya,Vikram or Karthi in Tamil.

Ram Mirchandani,COO of MOtion Pictures says “The script is very Indian at heart. I’ve requested Suriya, Karthi and Vikram and Ram Charan, Rana Daggubati and Prabhas to watch the Hindi adaptation next week and will soon take forward talks on the remakes in Tamil and Telugu.”The question is will any of these stars give green signal. If They give then it will be delightful treat to movie lovers down south.
