His name is Priyank Paradeshi and he works for IBM in California as a Senior Manager. But that have not excited this educated and top-class company’s employee as he felt that there is something related to movies that would give him a kick. So he uploaded a piracy print of Baahubali online. But what was revealed when this IT guy was nabbed by Jabalpur Police a month back is so alarming.

In a saddest development, quite educated and employee of a world class company is the head of a piracy gang that is situated across the globe. From the guys who record movies with camcorders to the ones who send it to bosses like Priyank in USA, Khan Saahab in France and Khurram in Australia, to the ones like Lingarajan who prints and sells DVDs in local markets; they are the people involved in this piracy ring that pirated nearly 1243 movies till date including Baahubali, PK and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

With techies as bosses, the gang held 65 websites under its control for people to download movies. After Priyank, nearly 11 other people were arrested by Jabalpur police, after Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce started digging into the matter of Baahubali piracy print uploaded to internet on the same day of release date, July 10th.

Quite sad for well settled and highly educated people like Priyank involving with piracy.

Superstar Mahesh is feeling elated. After two big disasters in a row at box office, a success will surely breathe that relief into one’s mind and heart. He has already revealed to fans how relieved he is now. Thanks the bigger hit Srimanthudu. What’s next anyway?

Apparently Mahesh has decided to take no long breaks before films. For that reason he wants to start the shooting of Brahmotsavam under Sirkanth Addala’s direction soon. It is heard that Superstar fixed August 18th as the launching date of this flick and he doesn’t want to get disturbed until then. For next 9 days, he want to spend quality time with family and kids. Starting in August, Brahmotsavam shooting will extend till December it seems, and producers have a March 2016 release date in mind. This film will also release in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.

Where is Mahesh heading? His favourite Abu Dhabi or any other European destination this time? Anyway, it’s August 9th, Happy Birthday Superstar Mahesh!!!

In Telugu and Hindi films, if a heroine who is already divorced spends time with his new boyfriend and then reunites finally at the end film, 99% of such films might boomerang at box office. No matter what, a heroine should have only one hero, though hero will romance 2-3 girls.

Coming to our discussion, here goes Hollywood films like Taken, Taken 2, 2012, San Andreas and the present running ‘Ant-Man’, which are some money minting flicks even in India. All these films have one common point, neither the visual effects nor the action stuff, but the ‘love’ of heroes.

All the heroes in these films are divorced or separated from their loving wives and by the end of film they save their kids and finally reunite. In the meantime their wives will be seeing other man, and those others are also part of the film’s story. Except in ‘Ant Man’, in all other films divorcing wives reunite with the heroes.

When would Hollywood think something new rather this breakup-reunion formula for its lead characters? If they don’t change this routine setup, English films will start irritating our audiences.

Every one knows that making Mahabharatam is the dream of Tollywood’s most successful director, SS Rajamouli. In one of the media interviews, Rajamouli made interesting comments about the project.

He clarified that Mahabharatam will not happen immediately and will take at least 10 years from now. If he wants to do it now, he will choose Junior NTR to play the role of Krishna. But again, he says that he will decide the cast when he makes the film.

In an earlier interview, Rajamouli also said that if he makes Mahabharatam according to what he have in his mind, the project will be a very huge hit. But having heard all that ten years is a very long time.

Mahesh Babu had pinned high hopes on Srimanthudu’s Tamil version, Selvandhan to create a new market for himself in the neighboring state. He even flew all the way to Chennai for the audio release of the movie.

However that seem to have not worked as Selvandhan’s openings are below average there. Even the word of mouth is also below average shattering any hopes of a revival. However it is said that the Telugu version is doing well in Tamil Nadu.

After the super success of Baahubali’s Tamil version, industry including Mahesh realized the market potential there. He now hopes to make it big there with his next, Brahmotsavam which is a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil.

Universal Hero Kamal Hassan’s Cheekati Rajyam reportedly do not have any songs. The team had just added one promotional song towards the end of the film to please fans. The movie is said to be a suspense thriller and so there is no space for songs.

The shooting is completed in a record 39 working days. The film will now enter in to extensive post production phase. Strong Buzz emerging from Kollywood is that the movie is a heavily inspired from a French film in which the entire story takes place in one night.

Interestingly, Kamal had ropped in three action choreographers – Gilles Conseil, Silivain Gabet and Virginie Arnaud to compose the fight sequences of the film. Kamal Hassan’s associate Rajesh is directing the film which is a bilingual made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Trisha is the female lead.

Telangana Information Technology Minister and scion of KCR, KT Rama Rao, has watched Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva’s latest offing Srimanthudu. Apparently, KTR immensely liked the film and can’t stop raving Mahesh Babu for doing a film with social message. Billed to be a story of a millionaire, Srimanthudu showcases how a young lad leaves his father’s riches aside, adopts his native village and provides all basic necessities for film.

KTR was floored with the way Koratala Siva narrated the story and how Mahesh Babu carried off the whole film on his shoulders with ease. Mahesh’s on screen persona, demeanor as simple man and his transition from a rich guy to simple lad all said to have impressed KTR and others. Sources say that KTR was spellbound with Srimanthudu.

With all-round appreciation pouring in on Srimanthudu, the makers are basking in the glory. Already, critics unanimously lapped up the film and trade pundits stating that the movie is biggest-ever hit in Mahesh Babu’s career. (Day 1 world-wide collection is pegged at Rs 30.14 Crore).
