Rajini thrilled watching Kochadaiyaan !
It is known that Soundarya, the daughter of Super Star Rajinikanth is making her directorial debut directing her father in a movie titled ‘Kochadaiyaan’. The movie had completed its shooting part and is now in post production phase. On Friday, Rajni and Soundarya watched very first edited copy of the movie along with director KS Ravi Kumar who penned the story for the movie. The actor is reportedly thrilled with the outcome and hugged his daughter in pride.
Kochadaiyaan is the first movie in Asia to use motion capturing which previously used for other films like “Avatar” and “Tintin”.Kochadaiyaan is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth features and movie star cast like Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff and others.A. R. Rahman scored the music. Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment jointly producing this heavy budget film.
Lakshmi Rai files defamation suit on a magazine !
Buxom babe Lakshmi Rai may look modern on screen but is one girl who never takes criticism. She had recently fumed on twitter on a lip lock issue with actor Balakrishna and now she had filed a case against a leading magazine for showing her in bad light. She had demanded 30 Lakh towards the damages for publishing the article The Chennai High Court has considered the case valid and has passed an injunction order against the magazine for publishing a defamatory article about the actress.
The actress in her complaint had mentioned that she is tired of these incidents affecting her personal life and will no longer take even a bit of rubbish anymore, which is affecting her image and personal life. As for the case, it was Justice R Sudhakar who granted the injunction and has passed interim orders on an application arising out of a civil suit from Lakshmi Rai praying for a direction to the weekly and its reporter to pay a sum of Rs 30 lakh towards damages for publishing articles in its issues.
Dil Raju elated at SVSC success !
“Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” (SVSC), the first multistarer movie in Telugu after a long time had completed 50 days at the box-office.
The film reportedly raked in over Rs.55 crore in two weeks since its release Jan 11. It was the first Telugu film to touch a million in the overseas market within two days of its release. Producer Dil Raju is overjoyed by the success, and has thanked fans for this.
“I have had commercial hits in my career, but this is the first time I have tried something off-beat and it paid off. All thanks to my director and actors for agreeing to be a part of the project. Initially, I was not open to the idea of a multi-starrer but Srikanth (director) convinced me,” Dil Raju told. “I have never had fans call and congratulate me for my films, but this is the first time it happened. Since the release of the film, I’ve got so many calls and I’m extremely happy about it.”
Boat owner sends legal notices to RGV !
Ram Gopal Varma is one person who never seem to be out of lime light for right or wrong reasons. he just scored a hit with his recent movie ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ after a long string of flops. But it is not all good for the maverick director. He just received a legal notice from a boat owner for misusing his property. For the sake of reality, Ram Gopal Varma had used Kuber, the name of the original boat and its registration number in the movie. They are the same details of the boat terrorists have stolen and sneaked in to India. But now Hiralal Masaani, the owner of the boat who had watched the movie is not happy with it. He had sent legal notices to Ram Gopal Varma for using his boat name and registration details with out his permission. Ramu is yet to respond to this notice.
Directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Alumbra Entertainment and Eros International, The Attacks of 26/11 features Nana Patekar, and Sanjeev Jaiswal (As Ajmal Kasab) among others. Ramu was assisted by Rommel Rodrigues,who had written a book ‘ Kasab the face of 26/11′ based on the incident.
Munnabhai is back again !
“Munna Bhai Chale Dilli”, the tentative title of the third “Munna Bhai” film of the popular Bollywood franchise, will be directed by Subhash Kapoor. The earlier films in the franchise – “Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.” and “Lage Raho Munnabhai” – were directed by Rajkumar Hirani under the Vidhu Vinod Chopra Films Pvt Ltd. banner.
After the success of the first two movies in the series, rumors were ripe that the third in the series is titled Munna bhai chale Amerika. The project did not take off for some reasons. Both the movies are highly successful commercially and were remade in several Indian languages.
Threat of Sadak Bandh !
The threat of a Sadak Bandh has been renewed. We are told that, to start with, on 21st of this month the Kurnool Highway will be barricaded by human beings preventing all movement and paralyzing the area. The Bandh organizers believe that it will have a salutary effect and will ensure that the Telengana issue will be solved with that.
In the Northeast last year, the agitators there blockaded the lifeline to Manipur for 3 months or so. They thought that the Government of India will prostrate before the agitators and beg them to lift the blockade for which benevolent act of theirs, the Government of India will concede all their demands, and in an act of penitence would promise to never ignore their demands however silly , untenable, and irrational they might be. Nothing of the sort happened and all the parties found some face-saving formula and called it quits.
The Kurnool Highway Bandh is supposed to plunge into chaos the air travelers flowing into the Shamshabad Airport from all corners of India and the world. The airport is expected to be virtually shut down as nobody will be permitted to enter or exit that facility. After all airports being shut down is nothing new. Periodically poor visibility, cyclones, floods, pilots’ strikes cotrollers’ strikes etc make airports non operational.
If Shamshabad is closed, then the planes could be diverted to Begumpet which can receive all the flight and ensure their departure with full passenger loads. What is required is the willingness of the powers that be to find the alternative

YSR responsible for Hyd blasts
Where ever and whenever blasts take place in the country, point of suspicion turns towards radar. Recently Hyderabad’s key are Dilsukhnagar exploded once again with bombs. Till now various intelligence intelligence agencies are unable to come to the logical conclusion of the blasts.
However in a startling revelation that could put political parties in fix, it was found that key accused in the bomb blast, Maqbool was released on clemency by the then CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy.While NIA is asking the bomb blast case to be transferred to it, five days back police bought Maqbool and Imran Khan on custody for investigation.
According to information Syed Maqbool who hails from Dharmabad,Maharashtra is key aide to Azam Ghori. He was key accused in the murder of cycle shop owner Satyanarayana in Nizamabad. While Ghori died in encounter, Maqbool got life sentence. However since he has close links with MIM, Late YSR released him pardoning him but later Delhi police arrested Maqbool and Imran Khan for Pune bomb blasts.

TRS Party and its leader KCR prides that they are the champions of Telangana but when Supreme Court gave ruling against AP Govt against Babli project thus supporting Maharashtra, TRS instead of opposing it went into silent mode.
While some of its leaders decided to go on protests against the ruling, its water resources wing head R.Vidya Sagar Rao who was Retd. Chief Engineer, Central Water Commission,supported supreme Court ruling stating that Telangana will not suffer at all. This came as shocker to people of Telangana.

Stories deserting films !
In any film functions one hears the oft repeated dialogues like the story is unique and no one touched this in the industry. Film makers boast that hero never did such role and the moment he heard the story, he hugged them. However after the film hits the screen, everything looks similar to n number of films.
In all the films storyline looks similar except for change of heroes and heroines and technical team. One wonder what could be the reason for such things.This is noticed not only in Tollywood but entire film industry in the country.While some film makers bag remake rights for lump sum amounts, some to escape from copyright problems say they drew inspiration from hit film.
This is happening because heroes are influencing directors to include hit scenes from hit films. So intro scene will be from one film, interval bang from another film, cilmax from another. The same thing happened in Nayak and Mirchi but but turned out to be blockbusters.
Prabhas went on record that if one looks for innovative scripts then it takes 3 yrs for one film. When film industry turned commercial with crores involved no one would like to take any risks. They stick to some formulas. One such could be hero entering villain’s house and try to change them. This ploot was first used in Gudumba Shankar and later in Aata but both did not click.
However from Ready the same formula started working and many films came in similar lines. Rajani’s Basha also inspired many film makers.Samara Simha Reddy,Indra,Narasimha Naidu,Bhrat Simha Reddy and many more have shades of Basha. Some are now saying their film is not a copy or inspiration from any film. But if one takes Nandini Reddy’s Jabardasth, even that bubble burst. Nandini said her film is unique but it turned out to be carbon copy of Band Baja Baarat.Even film makers of Badshah and Greeku Veerudu are at pains to convince movie lovers that theirs is new story and not inspired or copied from other films. This is because every now and then internet is abuzz with rumors that these films are freemakes of previous hit films,
