Rajamouli strikes down Shruti
The most prestigious upcoming project in Tollywood from ace director Rajamouli with powerful hero Prabhas which was titled as “Bahubali” is going to launch soon. Currently this film is under pre production work where sparkling beauty Anushka is going to play a lead role. Recently rumors are spread in industry that sizzling beauty Sruthi Hassan is going to take part in the film. But this news was dismissed by the director himself.
He tweeted saying “Shruthi hassan being roped in to act in “Bahubali” is false news. We haven’t approached her for any role.” Therefore, yet another rumour comes and goes away. Rana Daggubati will be seen in a negative role. Both Hero and Villian are undergoing training in sword fighting as the film is periodical film and it needs swords fighting. Shobu Yerlagadda and Prasad Devineni are producing this film where ace director K.Raghavender Rao is presenting this film
Mega family drowning in Sirish storm?
Allu Sirish is a popular personality in South India. Second son of top film maker Allu Aravind and brother of Stylish Star Allu Arjun, he created a niche for himself by being the CEO of South Scope cine magazine. After filling his magazine with top stunning beauties romancing on silver screen he decided to turn hero by himself.
Mega Family decided to launch him under Radha Mohan’s direction in the film titled Gauravam a bilingual entertainer. However according to insiders the rushes turned out to be total disappointment which is prompting Mega Family not to release the film in Tollywood. Only tamil version will be released.
Family members feel that Sirish couldn’t perform upto amatuer level in the film in action, emotion and dance sequences. As such they decided to train him in all those aspects before launching him afresh in Maruthi who scored hits like Ee Rojullo and Bus Stop rather than allow their prestige swept away in Sirish storm.
Budget rail leaves AP empty handed !
Whenever Budget time arrives whether rail budget or any other, AP people will wait expectantly whether there will be something to cheer in it. However people will be left only cursing their shameless MPs who are more interested in realizing their personal ends. Nani to go bald for Jenda Pai Kapiraju!
Nani who is so far confined to lover boy and the boy next door characters will be donning a new avatar for his next movie, Jenda Pai Kapiraju. For the first time in his career, he is going to play a dual role, one of which will have negative shades. The actor is reportedly going to sport a bald head for this role. The actor himself revealed this in a special interview to a popular newspaper. He said, “I’m going to shave my head. My character has a few negative shades. Since this is the first time, I’m playing a dual role — a 27-year-old guy and a 45-year-old — it’s been a challenging experience. We have already started shooting. Once I complete my Krishna Vamsi film, I’ll shave my head.””
This is Samuthirakani’s second straight Telugu film after Shambo Shiva Shambo. The movie is a bilingual made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Nani and Amala Paul are playing the lead roles in the Telugu version, while Jayam Ravi and Amala Paul are reprising the lead roles in the Tamil version. KS Srinivasan is the producer.
Nagarjuna is not doing Special 26 remake
For the past two weeks, Tinsel town has been abuzz that with reports that actor Nagarjuna will feature in the Telugu remake of Special 26. The rumours were so strong that the fans of the actor had went on predicting the director of the project. However, speaking at a press conference of his next movie, Greeku Veerudu, the actor quashed all rumors, the actor said, “I’m not doing Special Chabbis remake and I don’t know where these rumors have come from. I’m yet to see the film and these reports are absolutely baseless.”
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Special Chabbis stars Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles while Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher will be seen in supporting roles. Nagarjuna had just completed the shooting of his Greeku Veerudu. His other movie, Bhai is currently on sets. He is also doing a special role in JK Bharavi’s Adhi Shankara Charya.
Naga Chaitanya, Tamannah: Bangkok to Pollachi
Akkineni scion Naga Chaitanya and Milky beauty Tamannah had shook their legs for a peppy number in Bangkok. Director Dolly is pleased with the output and the movie unit is back. The shooting of the next song will begin from the first week of March in Pollachi. The movie which is the remake of Tamil super hit, Vettai had completed major part of its shooting activity. The makers are yet to announce their release plans.
Thadaka is rumoured to be the title of the movie. Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame Dolly is directing this film. Andrea Jeremiah and Tamannah will romance Sunil and Naga Chaitanya in the movie. Bellamkonda Suresh is producing it under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.
Sonu Sood’s loss is Sri Hari’s gain
Strange are the ways of fate. the makers of Zanjeer had approached Sri Hari for a role in the Telugu version of the movie but later Sonu Sood was brought in for the role. But Sonu was recently injured in a CCL match and will now have to make way for Sri Hari. Sonu Sood’s injury was not major but it would keep him out of action for at least 8 weeks. Which means he will should be out of action during this time. “2 plates n 17 screws finally helped be hold my broken bones.Should be fine in few weeks but feels bad for the cancellation of few films,” he revealed on Twitter.
The movie is the remake on 1973 blockbuster movie, Zanjeer and is the Bollywood debut movie of Ram Charan. Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead in the movie. Apoorva Lakhia is wielding the megaphone.The movie is being made in Telugu and Hindi and both the versions will have simultaneous release.
Pawan Kalyan back in the city
Power Star Pawan Kalyan is back in Hyderabad after a 15 day schedule in Pollachi. The actor is in Pollachi doing some heavy action sequences under the supervision of Peter Heins for his upcoming movie under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas. The next schedule of the movie will being in Hyderabad from March 1st.
Hare Rama Hare Krishna / Sarada / Toofan are rumored to be the titles of the movie. After Jalsa, Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas team up for the second time in this action entertainer.
