Top website insults mega heroes!

0
Popular website which prides itself on gossips and cooking sensation news insulted Mega Heroes comparing them with animals and insects. The website taking some specific names of mega heroes family films like Charan’s debut film Chiruta and Varun Tej’s upcoming debut film titled Gollabhama compared Cherry to animal and Varun Tej to insect forgetting the fact the while Chiruta is named by film makers after taking first letters of “‘Chiru’+’Ta’nayudu’. Thus turning Chiruta, a powerful title and also shows the a power of animal that runs at lightening speed.

Similarly Gollabhama is desribed the beauty of a woman. The site in its story even belitteled Megastar’s film titles Mruga Raju, Puli and Pawan Kalyan’s Komaram Puli. Wonder how mega gans will react. It is sad to see a website stooping to such level to surge ahead in rankings by getting viewerships.

Powercuts better than Power Tarrifs !

0
One may not be sure whether CM Kiran is able to deliver knockout punch on his detractors inside and outside his party and whether he can emerge victorious over his arch rival Jagan Mohan Reddy, he is delivering knockout punches one after another on hapless people.

His govt in order to get votes announced free power and though many economists and politiacl analysts advocated that it is impossible to continue the scheme, Govt is adamant on it. Now all the free power burden it want to shift on people. Already it broke the back of people by including hidden charges and then even collecting extra amounts for the past years and now if this is also included then people will feel it is better to live in powercuts than pay power tarriff.

Babu’s strategy backfiring?

0
Chandra Babu Naidu never shared good relations with the Nandamuri family members. However he being a keen strategist used them to the core to reach the top echleons in TDP and later to become CM of the state. He used divide and rule policy with carrot and stick methods on Nandamuri family members. Harikrishna became pawn under him and later it was Purandreswari and now many feel it is Balakrishna.

He sometime back roped in Young Tiger NTR who has striking resemblance to NTR and whose extempore oratory skills is a rage to hear. However he was never keen to have him in long run and pitted him against  Balakrishna and now Nara Rohit on silver screen. CBN thought Nara hero after Solo hit will be his trump card which he can use against young tiger. However it seems his plans backfired as his Okkadine failed to make any impression on movie lovers.

Many feel that even if they roar like tigers there, it is at the behest of Cong High Command. The general impression is irrespective of their warnings to High Command and even to Sonia Gandhi, the script and drama is enacted by Cong High Command.

Now they are back to their old dramas. T MPs resorted to telangana slogans during President’s address in both houses. While they say that there was hardly any pressure on them, many feel it is diversionary tactics by Cong Govt which is getting buried under various scams.

Jabardast Movie Review – 2.75/5

Rating: 2.75/5
Starring Siddharth, Samantha, Nitya Menon, Suresh, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and others
Direction: Nandini Reddy
Music: Thaman SS
Cinematography: Sameer Reddy
Editing: Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao
Producer: Bellamkonda Suresh
Banner: Sri Sai Ganesh Banner

Synopsis:

Bairraju (Siddharth) and Shreya (Samantha) work in a wedding planning company. They lose their job on one occasion for no fault and they start their own wedding planner company called Shreyas Media and in a very short time. They go places in the field until one day differences creep in between them and they part their ways. Later both of them start separate companies and run in to losses. Finally what happens in their lives forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Siddharth tried a new role in the movie. Unlike his previous movies, he tried mass comedy in the movie and used tapori kinda slang. But the role did not suit the actor and he appeared to have gone overboard in several occasions. Samantha looked extremely beautiful and rendered a good performance. It will not be an exaggeration to say she carried the entire movie on her shoulders. Nitya Menon is good too in the special appearance. Sri Hari in the role of Don Javed Bhai as always lived up to the expectations. Thagubothu Ramesh, Telangana Sakuntala, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam have managed some good laughs.

Technical aspects:

Jabardast is a blant copy of Bollywood blockbuster movie, Band Baaja Baraat. The director even went on to lift several scenes directly from the movie. This is exactly what not is expected from Nandini Reddy who had delivered promising stuff in Ala Modhalindhi. However, she had done good work in blending our nativity to the script. Even for the rip off, the screenplay is not up to the mark which only slowed the proceedings.

Thaman had come up with good numbers for the movie and the back ground score is just okay. The back ground score which comes in the climax is also an exact rip off from Band Baaja Baraat. Sameer Reddy’s cinematography is excellent. Kotagiri’s scissors should have worked better.

Final Say:

Few days ago, it was announced that Nani will be playing the lead role in the Telugu remake of Band Baaja Baraat. And now about 80% of the movie is mercilessly lifted by Nandini Reddy. Tragedy is several scenes were used as it is in this movie. The saddest part of this entire episode is Nandini Reddy even failed to execute the script perfectly after all this harakiri.

For the people who already watched Band Baaja Baraat, Jabardast will be the worst possible remake/free make of the movie. And for the rest of the people, it’s an average fare.

National Media shows Mega Star’s might !

0
Indians generally don’t believe in their strengths and it requires some foreigner to certify, only then they take it for granted. Similar is the case with various state people. They always belittle their stars and it requires national or international media’s endorsement to confirm their greatness.

Similar thing happened in Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s stature in Andhra Pradesh. When he was in films atleast his fans used to vouch for his stardom and greatness but once he joined politics and became laughing stock, many of his fans also disowned him. However a national media in its recent survey showed Mega Star’s might.

In a survey conducted by it to findout celebrities who influenced Indian film industry, Mega Star Chiranjeevi was the only one to find his way into the list from Tollywood. The list included superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Ashok Kumar, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna,Prithviraj Kapoor,Amir Khan,Sharukh Khan,Shivaji Ganesan,MGR,Rajanikanth,Kamal Hasan,Salman Khan among others.

This is indeed another feather in his distinguished crown. The organizers sang praises of Mega Star for his contribution to Tollywood which changed the course of film making.

RGV’s high costs from zero costs!

0
Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma can do what ever he can to prove a point. Some time back he directed a film ‘Dongala Mutha’ with in no time at zero cost much to the surprise of all. However now the same RGV spent a whopping amount of Rs 25crs on his upcoming project The Attacks of 26/11.
Earlier he planned to do the film in telugu and hindi but later decided to release it in 16 Indian languages which increased its cost. What surprised many is he spent more than Rs 4crs for the replica of Taj Hotel erected at the shooting spot. Most of the cast except for Nana Patekar are new and this is making everyone wonder what impact RGV’s film make on viewers.Film is bracing for grand release on march 1st.

Young Tiger out of number race?

0
When Young Tiger made his debut in Tollywood he created a sensation with his superhit films like Aadi, Simhadri etc sending shivers to top stars during that time. However now his speed is totally reduced and many feel that he is out of number race. While his contemporary heroes like Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan scored Rs 50crs blockbuster hits, Stylish Star Allu Arjun also reached Rs 40 crs mark. Now even Rebel Prabhas is on his way to Rs 40 crs club.

However despite all the stardom and fame, NTR’s only film Dammu grossed Rs 33.5 crs. However it left buyers in losses. This left NTR in lot of stress and now with cost of  Srinu Vytla directed Badshah already reaching Rs 40crs, fans are hopeful that it will gross Rs 50crs. It has to be seen how much power Badshah shows on silver screen.

0
Bunny is the one hero who can set the dance floor on fire with his sensational and superlative dancing moves. He always tries for new moves and according to latest information he is insisting his choreographers to come with new special steps in his upcoming film Iddarammayilato directed by Puri Jagannath.

CBN’s corporate preference a final nail in TDP’s coffin

0
Many poll surveys are predicting total rout for Chandra Babu Naidu’s TDP. In order to resurrect the party he has taken padayatra but many feel unless until there is sea change in Naidu’s thinking and running of the party all these gimmicks will not revive TDP’s fortunes.

Even during cooperative body elections the party is losing the sure shot seats just because of last minute intervention of Chandra Babu and passing diktats in support of leaders or persons with corporate backgrounds rather than those who gave their everything for the party and strove for the party’s victory till the last minute.

Even the cadre is disappointed and if DCCB elections results in losses to TDP it is not because of party leaders or cadre but CBN’s corporate preference that is driving final nail in TDP’s coffin.

Rana’s media savvy troubles !

0
Now a days many stars take to online social networking sites to be in touch with fans and maintain media relations so that they will be in news all the time. Those who don’t have time ring up their media friends plead with them to write some gossips about them just to be in constant media attention.
When such is the competition for media attention Tollywood hot hunk Rana will not leave any opportunity even if it is of little concern to him.Recently he on his twitter reacted strongly to Kollywood hero Vikram’s comments on Southern heroes in general and how their poor planning is making them a laughing stock in Bollywood.
Rana took it personally and launched a scatching attack asking Vikram to shutup and mind his own business. This gave him immense media attention but with in minutes he removed his tweets saying all is well between him and Vikram and even tendering apologies to the star. If Rana feels that his objective of being in media attention then no one can help him but many feel that it is a good lesson for him not to over react and later tender apologies.

Fight for Steel City Supremacy

0

Fight for supremacy over steel city Visakhapatnam is intensifying between two heavy weights of Cong Party. T.Subbarami Reddy on many occasions in various public platforms expressed his desire to contest from Vizag in the coming parliament elections in 2014, Purandreswari who won from the same city in 2009 to become Union Minister since then tried getting lot of facilitites to her constituency, so that she can have cake walk in the next elections.

Subbarami Reddy who is dreaming of contesting from Vizag, ever since is trying to maintain people to people contacts and says Cong High Command will give ticket to persons who have people to people contacts. He says Purandreswari will be fielded from Narsaraopet. This is putting Cong in a bind as both are valuable leaders for the party. TSR on party orders contested YSR Party’s Rajamohan Reddy in Nellore and lost heavily. Now it has to be seen who wil win the fight for steel city supremacy. Ironically Purandreswari and Subbarami Reddy are not from Vizag. While Purandreswari is from Prakasam dist, TSR is from Nellore Dist.

Bollywood depending on Southern Spice!

0

Film making in Bollywood has just become whether film turned out to be a hit and more importantly crossed Rs 100 crs barrier. Top heroes and heroines have taken it as prestige issue to be in Rs 100crs club irrespective of their voices against it. During the last two years the films which entered Rs 100crs club mostly belong to southern films. Bollywood film makers now to get the callsheets of top heroes are just viewing past ten years old southern films.

Many more southern spices are lined up for release in 2013. Since film making is skyrocketing in Bollywood none are taking chances with experimentation. Many prefer mass masala entertainers. Successful director Prabhu Deva who started with a hit Nuvvostanane Nenoddantana couldn’t find success in South. However he went to bollywood and made hit after hit with Wanted for Salman, Rowdy Rathore for Akshay Kumar and now busy with  Ramayya Vastavayya. All are remakes of Pokiri, Vikramarkudu and Nuvvostanante Ne noddantana. He says to score hit in Bollywood, one should make some changes in script to the liking of nothern viewers.

Salman scored many hits with Wanted,Body Guard, Ready and now busy with Kick. All are remakes of southern films. Now film makers are remaking Okkadu and in the same way Kollywood hit sami. Even Ram starrer Kandireega is ready for remake. Murugadoss is busy with Tupaki remake with Akshay,Sonakshi. While Priyadarshan is busy remaking tamil hit Nadodigal as Rangrej, Ritesh Deshmukh is starring in the remake of Tamil Padam. Kartik Subbaraju’s Pizza is going to Bollywood and same is with Susi Ganesan’s tamil film Tiruttu Payile which is changing to Shortcut Romeo.
