Ram Charan may be just 5 movies old in industry but he had surprised every one shattering all the records in Telugu. And now he is all set to show his stamina with bat. He will be participating in the third edition of Celebrity Cricket League. Charan commands huge following in youth and the organisers of Telugu warriors hope this will help the tournament to attract more audience.

The first match of the tournament will begin on February 9th in Kochi. Venkatesh will be captaining Telugu warriors team as in the case of last two editions. Kajal Agarwal and Bipasha Basu are the brand ambassadors of this edition of the tournament. The curtain raiser of the third edition will take place today night. Salman Khan, Prabhudeva, Katrina Kaif, Bipasha Basu and other will perform live at this function.

Brahmi’s Jaffa in February

Comedian turned director Vennela Kishore’s second directorial venture ‘Jaffa’ is all set for release. The movie reportedly is a laughing riot in which Brahmi will be seen as a dreaded terrorist, Jaffar Khan. The movie will not have any female characters except few junior artists. The shooting of the movie is completed long ago and the post production works are nearing completion too. Currently, the DTS mixing is going on. The makers are planning to release the movie in February.

Ali and Venu Madhav will be seen in other prominent roles in the film. Sunil Kashyap is composing the music for this film. Cinematography is by Naveen. Ramesh Varma is producing the film under Kiran Studios Pvt Ltd banner.

Vyjayanthi movies burned hands again with RaviTeja’s ‘Saroccharu’. The impact could be definitely seen on their next prestigious venture with Mahesh babu. Pawan and Trivikram are very keen on speed shooting and finishing this movie by April and planning to release this film in May. Pawan has given his required call sheets for this movie to Trivikram already and Pawan is so keen on this movie and not going to think about any other project before its completion. So there is no wonder if this movie gets release into summer race. The producer and director have decided back to back schedules in Hyderbad and Spain.
 
The reason behind this fast making is speculated that, ‘Gabbar singh’ that was released on last summer turned a block buster, believing in the same sentiment, Pawan wanted this film to be released by this summer to bag another film in his filmography.

There were speculations that Brahmanandam scenes are going to be added in ‘Seethamma Vakitlo sirimalle chettu’ post Sankranthi. But it didn’t happen, when enquired about the same with the producer Dil Raju, he replied “In order to add the track of Brahmanandam in the movie, we have to do pre-production and re-recording works again which involves lot of rework now. Again the movie should undergo censorship. We think movie is exceptionally making well and need no more attractions for its promotion. Movie is even making good in collections even in neighboring states like Tamil nadu”.
 
It proves, good movies like ‘Seethamma..’ doesn’t require any special comedians and comedy tracks to pull the success. This movie has recently created records in overseas collections in advance bookings.

Addanki (Prakasham district) MLA Gotti pati Ravi kumar announced that he is going to join YSR CP. He mentioned that on public interest he decided for a party change. As soon as Gottipati announced his movie into YSR CP, there were vigilance attacks on the quarries that belong to him. He alleged that, only because of leaving Congress party, I am facing this vigilance attacks. “With love and respect on Late YSR, I am moving into their party”, he said.
 
There were tidings that, even Darsi MLA B.Siva Prasad reddy is also joining YSR CP. And it was known that vigilance officers raided even on the quarries belong to Siva Prasad reddy in Prakasham district. Congress faced the same allegations in this case too, that vigilance attacks are planned on all the MLAs who are moving out of Congress. Dil Raju’s romance with flop director?

The most successful current generation producer in Tollywood, Dil Raju is planning another movie with the title ‘Lover’ under his home banner ‘Sri Venkateshwara Creations’. This is going to be a complete love story under the direction of Vasu Varma of ‘Josh’ fame. A new hero is going to be casted for this subject.
Producer Dil Raju talking on this said, “With a beautiful love subject narrated by Vasu Varma, I am producing this movie ‘Lover’. The entire subject is completed its pre-production work already. Very soon we are going to start the shooting of this film. A new hero is going to be introduced by this film”, he conceded.
As for all his earlier films, Sirish, Laxman are the co-producers for this film, while Vasu Varma is on the card Story-Screenplay-Direction.

Prabhas hitting gym for BahuBali

Rajamouli has recently announced about his latest flick with Prabhas. Even he announced that his working title for this film is ‘Bahu Bali’, which means a strong man. Rajamouli called for entries from 8 to 60 years of age for auditioning the casting in this film. Rich tributes paid to NTR

Rich tributes were paid to Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, founder of the TDP on the occasion of his 17th death anniversary on Friday. All his family members and several party leaders gathered at the NTR Ghat to remember him.

Hari Krishna, Jr. NTR, Kalyana Ram, union minister Purandareswari and others came to the NTR Ghat and paid floral tributes. In Rasoolpura, hero Bala Krishna and TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu’s son Lokesh garlanded the statue of NTR and paid tributes. Balayya flagged off the Amara Jyoti Rally from Rasoolpira to the NTR Ghat to mark the occasion.

Party workers and fans turned up in large numbers for the programme. Speaking on the occasion, Bala Krishna said NTR was a beacon of hope for the poor the weaker sections.

Hero Jr. NTR said the TDP would storm into power in 2014 under the leadership of Chandra Babu Naidu.

Talking to the media on the occasion of the death anniversary of N T Rama Rao at the NTR Ghat here on Friday, he said the Vastunnaa Meekosam pada yatra of Naidu brought a new zeal to the party and expressed confidence that he would once again Naidu as the Chief Minister. He said all the problems of the people would then be a thing of the past.

NTR said he could not join Naidu in his yatra as he was busy with his shooting schedules. He would however join him somewhere when he found time. Ruling out the possibility of his contesting election, NTR however said he would always be available to the arty for campaign.

Nara Lokesh refused to talk to the media until his father Chandra Babu Naidu completed his Vastunna Meekosam pada yatra.

Lokesh, his father-in-law Bala Krishna and mother Bhuvaneswari participated in the Amar Jyothi Rally at Rasooolpura in the city, on the occasion of the 17th death anniversary of late N T Rama Rao on Friday.

When media tried to get Lokesh into conversation, he said he would talk to them only after his father completed his pada yatra.

Ongole Gitta aims for February release

The confusion surrounding the title of King Nagarjuna’s next movie directed by Dasaradh seem to be cleared now. Love Story, Sarileru Neekevvaru etc. have been considered as the title of the movie but the makers now seem to have a different idea. They have confirmed a title ‘Greeku Veerudu’ which they feel will be more appealing to Nagarjuna’s image and the story. The title and first look of the movie will be out on January 26th.

Nagarjuna will be seen as an NRI who comes to India for the first time. Nayantara is pairing up with Nagarjuna in this movie. Second time after Boss. Dasarath is directing Greeku Veerudu and D Sivaprasad Reddy is producing the film on Kamakshi Kala Movies banner. Thaman is composing the music.

NTR Family remembers the legend

Today is 17th death anniversary of legend late NT.Rama Rao, who needs no introduction. Entire State is paying its respects to its lost leader and dear actor. Family members of NTR thronged to the NTR ghat to pay respects to the legend. Junior NTR along with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi reached NTR ghat and paid their respects. Film actor and NTR’s son Balakrishna and his son-in-law, Nara Lokesh visited the special ceremony organized by All India NTR fans association in Rasoolpura. They garlanded NTR statue there and Balayya flaged off ‘Amara Jyothi’ rally. Lokesh later along with his mother Bhuvaneswari paid homage at NTR ghat. Kalyan Ram, Hari Krishna, Nandamuri Rama Krishna, Purandhareeshwari, Lakshmi Parvathi also paid their homage at NTR ghat. On the other side, Chandra Babu Naidu had started his Padayatra by garlanding NTR statue in Khaanapur, Nalgonda district. He delivered a long speech about the achievements of NTR which made the great man immortal.
