Mumbai, Oct 4 (IANS) Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan had a long list of adjectives to describe her sister-in-law and actress Soha Ali Khan, who on Friday turned 46.Kareena took to Instagram, where she posted a video montage featuring a slew of pictures of her along with Soha, husband Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Sharmila Tagore and all the kids.

The “Jab We Met” star used the song “Dancing in the flames” by rapper The Weeknd playing in the background.

For the caption, she wrote: “smart, funny, loving, caring, workout maniac, gluten free, chocolate cake, beautiful, sister in law, Happy Birthday Soha, Love you lots @sakpataudi.”

Talking about Soha, she made her Bollywood debut in 2004 with “Dil Maange More!!!”. She was then seen in films such as “Rang De Basanti”, “Khoya Khoya Chand”, “99”, “Tum Mile”, “Mr Joe B. Carvalho”. In 2017, she came out with her debut book titled “The Perils of Being Moderately Famous”, featuring a collection of humorous anecdotes about her life.

She then featured in a short film christened “Soundproof” directed by Aditya Kelgaonkar in 2017. Soha will next be seen in the sequel of “Chhorii” Nushrratt Bharuccha-starrer ‘Chhorii’. The first installment narrated the story of a pregnant woman named Sakshi haunted by the spirit of a woman killed by her in-laws in a remote village .

“Chhorii 2” reportedly will begin from where Sakshi’s story finished. The film will have old and some new characters including Soha. The second installment too is directed by Vishal Furia.Meanwhile Kareena recently featured in filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s mystery-thriller “The Buckingham Murders”.

The film was bankrolled by Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Mahana Films.
She is set to feature in the Ajay Devgn-starrer ‘Singham Again’ helmed by ‘All The Best’ fame director Rohit Shetty. The action-drama also features Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Dayanand Shetty and Ashutosh Rana in crucial roles.

Mumbai, Oct 4 (IANS) Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala on Friday announced the sequel of Salman Khan-starrer 2014 movie “Kick” and shared a glimpse from the photoshoot from the sets of “Sikandar”.The official Instagram handle of Nadiadwala Grandson posted a monochrome picture of Salman. In the image, the 58-year-old star’s back is towards the camera. He is seen wearing a sleeveless black T-shirt and flaunting his beefed up body.

Released in 2014, “Kick”, an action comedy, marked Nadiadwala’s directorial debut. The filmAlso stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. It was the official remake of the eponymous 2009 Telugu original.Talking about action thriller “Sikandar”, Salman last month treated his fans with some jaw-dropping workout pictures.

He took to Instagram and shared a glimpse of the set as he was seen indulging in a seated cable row exercise. Salman could be seen flaunting his physique in the picture.‘Sikandar’ is helmed by ‘Ghajini’ fame director AR Murugadoss. The film will also feature Rashmika Mandanna and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead role.

The film also marks the first grand collaboration of Salman with Rashmika, Kajal and director AR Murugadoss and the second collaboration between Salman Khan and renowned producer Sajid Nadiadwala after their 2014 blockbuster ‘Kick’.

Salman was last seen in the 2023 action-comedy “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ helmed by ‘Housefull 4’ fame director Farhad Samji. The film also featured Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, Venkatesh Daggubati, Palak Tiwari, Shehnaaz Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Bhagyashree, Jagapathi Babu, Asif Sheikh and late actor Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.

Los Angeles, Oct 4 (IANS) “Euphoria” star Sydney Sweeney said that she is not being financially supported by her fiance Jonathan Davino as she is a very successful and independent woman who’s worked really hard.The 27-year-old actress has been dating 40-year-old Jonathan since 2018. The two got engaged last year.

Putting an end to rumours suggesting her partner pays for everything in their relationship, she told Glamour magazine: “I’m a very successful, independent woman who’s worked really hard. I’ve accomplished and bought everything myself, and I provide for myself and my family.”

Sweeney said that her partner is not financially backed for her Fifty-Fifty Films production company.

She added: “I would love to set the record straight. You can be in a healthy relationship with someone and also be very successful without needing the man. We’re teammates. We’re in it together. And we want to see each other succeed.”

She went on to say that she doesn’t take her financial security for granted since she started earning money in Hollywood and she will never be able to feel “comfortable” because her parents previously went through bankruptcy .

Sweeney added: “I come from a family where I saw my parents lose everything, and I am terrified of that. That fear will always be instilled in me. I’m a huge saver. I don’t just go and spend money. I like to invest. I like real estate. I like making, hopefully, smart choices with the money I’m making. But I don’t think I’ll ever actually feel comfortable.”

The comments come after the actress said that she is still struggling to adjust to life in the spotlight, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

She had told ES Magazine: “I think I’m still navigating it on a daily basis because I want to be as authentic and genuinely open to the public and my fans as possible. And I think I am. I talk a lot, I’m very open and it’ll probably be to my detriment, but I don’t know how people can hide behind an image.

“At the same time, I don’t owe people answers. I’m a very private person when it comes to my family and relationships. I want people to know who I am as an individual but also, I feel that I should still be allowed to have my own peace and private life as well. It’s a weird balance, I’m definitely still figuring it out.”
