The First look pictures of Allu Sirish’s debut movie, Gauravam were released to media on Wednesday. Sirish was seen in a skin tight tee exposing his strong biceps and in khaki pant. The makers are taking care that the looks of the actor gets accepted before the movie release. But despite the good still, people’s focus gets shifted to the Vankara Moothi of Sirish in the pictures. Sirish is having the problem of Teeth disarray which had caused the deformation in his jaw. He had been using braces for quite some time to solve the problem.

The movie shooting is 50% complete. The next schedule of the movie will begin in Kanya Kumari very soon. Critically acclaimed director Radha Mohan is directing thsi film and versatile character artiste Prakash Raj is the producer. The movie is a bilingual and B.V.S. Ravi is working on the script for the Telugu version. Music is being scored by Thaman.

Many films in Tollywood may not win awards or attract the attention of other regions. But there are many tollywood films which proved inspiration to B-Town and their top stars reviving the career of many. Bollywood which previously look down south films as ‘sambar-avakaya’ films started appreciating the creativity and are competing with each other to bag the remake rights of successful films. TOp to stay in the list is Salman Khan who after his Dabang success is starring in ‘Kick’. This is the remake of Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s ‘Kick’. Sallu Miya regained his form with Prince Mahesh Babu’s ‘Pokiri’ which he remade it as ‘Wanted’.

Though Amir did not remake a telugu film, his ‘Ghajani’ is a remake of Surya starrer. Even action hero Akshay Kumar who till now used to star in malayalee remakes like ‘Hera Feri’, ‘Bhool Bhulaya’, ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Hey Baby’ and “Katta Meeta’, scored a stunning hit with ‘Rowdy Rathore’ a remake of tollywood superhit ‘Vikramarkudu’ starring Ravi Teja. Buzz is now he is planning to remake Chiranjeevi’s ‘Tagore’. Ajay Devgan also scored a hit with ‘Singham’ a remake of Surya starrer. Now he is starring in ‘Son of Sardar’, a remake of Sunil’s ‘Maryada Ramanna’. His upcoming venture ‘Himmatwala’ is remake of Super Star Krishna’s ‘OOriki Monagadu’. Even Sanjay Dutt is starring in remakes of ‘Dhee’ and then in Balakrishna’s ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’ remake. Even Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade and Shahid Kapoor are getting ready to follow their seniors who set the trend of remaking tollywood films.

Everyone knows family hero Srikanth is the die hard fan of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. He fulfilled his dream of acting with Chiru, by making his presence felt when he shared the screen presence with Megastar in ‘Shankar Dada Zindabad’ and also in its sequel. Now much to the delight of Srikanth none other than Power Star Pawan Kalyan announced in full public gaze that Srikanth is one of the mega brothers.

The incident happened during the spectacular launch of Srikanth starrer ‘Devaraya’ audio launch. Recollecting his association with Srikanth, Power Star said Srikanth shares extremely good relationship with Megastar Chiranjeevi and Chiru always refers to Srikanth as his brother during his conversations with him. Pawan said Srikanth is like mega family member. This will be surely honey to Srikanth’s ears, as any person would be delighted to be associated in some form or the other with Mega Family.

Srikanth said Pawan used to be secluded and calm even in mega functions while he used to land at the venue and celebrate the occasion with full fervor and frenzy. He said he never expected and had his own doubts on Pawan gracing his film ‘Devaraya’ audio launch as Pawan did not even celebrate ‘Gabbar Singh’ success. However he delighted all making the function a grand one with his presence.

Tollywood Jakkana creation ‘Eega’ might have signed off on a high note from silver screen across the world but everyone knew the lasting impression it created on movie lovers. Still people and kids rave about ‘Eega’ and many have already made up their mind to watch the film’s 3D version as and when it hits the screens.

In the mean time King Nag is coming with powerful ‘Damarukam’ in hand along with Anushka and he says his mission is to erase ‘Eega’ memories from the minds of people. Speaking at the audio launch he said that ‘Damarukam’ will erase ‘Eega’ from the memories of movie lovers. He said ‘Damarukam’ special effects will be thousand times more better and extravagant than ‘Eega’ which set the trend for others to follow.

One wonder why Nag with his ‘Damarukam’ is targeting ‘Eega’. Many feel since he spoke about Damarukam on a high note it wont be the fault of movie lovers if they start dissecting each and every scene of Damarukam with that of Eega before passing their judgement. Expectations will increase enormously with may or may not work in its favor. It has to be seen whether ‘Damarukam’ will be successful on its mission ‘Eega’.

Milky beauty Tamanna after casting her mesmerizing spell on mega family heroes in tollywood seems to be eying Prince charming Mahesh Babu. Tamanna is on high luring Stylish Star Allu Arjun in ‘Badrinath’ before seducing Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja in ‘Racha’. She is currently romancing Power Star Pawan Kalyan in ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ . In the process even Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed her desire to romance her if he gets a chance. Such was her beauty that Bollywood action hero Ajay Devgn also expressed his wish to romance her and duly cast her in the remake of ‘Himmatwala’ setting the tone for her debut in Bollywood.

There were reports that Tammu rejected Prince Mahesh Babu’s film to sign her next film with Bollywooc Chocolate Boy Ranbit Kapoor. This they say after director Salim Akthar contemplated of slapping a legal case on the actor. However Tammu says “I am not doing any other Hindi film other than Himmatwala (with Ajay Devgn). I haven’t turned down Mahesh Babu’s film. When such rumours appear in the media, I don’t take them seriously. I guess rumours are a part and parcel of actors’ lives now.”. It has to be seen how Prince Mahesh receive Tammu’s new found love signals.

Chiranjeevi after making his debut became a phenomenon with in no time with his daring, dashing and dynamic heroism on silver screen. His breathtaking dances, powerful dialogues and stunning stunts became talk of the town and no one was able to match his performances. He became supreme hero and super star enjoying immense mass following.

However even the invincible mega star tasted rare defeats at the hands of his contemporaries and a tinge of disappointment could be felt in his interactions with media. While he lavished praises on King Nagarjuna on his performance as ‘Shirdi Sai’, Mega Star very well know he did not have the kind of devotional hits which King Nag enjoys in his career. Nag has ‘Annamayya’ and ‘Sri Ramadasu’ and now ‘Shirdi Sai’ which any actor would love to trade for parting all their success name and fame along with it.

Similar is the case with Balakrishna who featured in mythological films like ‘Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam’, ‘Pandurangadu’, ‘Aditya 369’, ‘Bhairava Dweepam’ and crowned all this with mega venture ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. Chiru will be surely disappointed in his heart of hearts that why film makers did not come with creative and mythological roles to him. He can only draw solace in his ‘siva tandavam’ dance with Meenakshi Seshadri in Apadbandhavudu and Lord Shiva role in Arjun starrer ‘Sri Manjunatha’.

It requires guts to take on versatile star Vikram who also won national award for his acting in ‘Siva Putrudu’. When all stayed away from locking horns with him, family hero Jagapathy Babu chose to take on Chiyan Vikram that too in his own film. The incident happened at the audio launch of bilingual film ‘Siva Tandavam’. The film celebrated its audio in a grand manner yesterday at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad in the presence of top tollywood celebrities.

While speaking on the occasion Vikram said when he compared his role with that of Jagapathy Babu he fell in love with the role enacted by Jagapathy Babu. He said Babu is the real hero and he is proud to have worked and shared the screen presence with him. He showered praises on the film makers for the film. Jagapathy Babu later speaking at the function said he don’t care about his role and bother about the roles others are playing in the film. This is virtually direct reference to Vikram. He went on to say duration and length of the role doesn’t matter for him and what ever comes in his way, he will do wholeheartedly putting maximum effort.
